This looks really good. Although I do like the tropical environment in vanilla Far Cry, I'd love to run around an urban setting like this one. Great work guys :)

This mod captured my attention due to my huge interest in the Lord of the Rings books. I loved the films and thought Peter Jackson did a great job. However, the games that resulted never felt good enough, they never did the films or books justice. Until the MERP came along. This mod looks really promising, it looks like the wondrous world that Tolkien imagined will finally become a world that fans can explore and enjoy. If Warner Bro's don't retract their C&D then they're, in my eyes, a bullying business who are incompetent in looking out for their own self interests and the interests of their fans.
Hope you guys can keep up the good work without Corporate Bullying getting in your way.

If you follow the links that 'names_are_useless' put on you can write them on their website, the links tell you how they're meant to be set out and when they'll be set. You just gotta sign up and then post in the literary developments section. :)

*NOTE* The small battle I mentioned would be during the war of the ring. It'd be an attack on a village in Rohan by Wild-men. :)

OK, well I've just registered now! :) Read the guidelines and I'll start with writing some quests. I have an idea for a small battle (20 vs 20) in a village in Rohan, would this perhaps be too big or would it still be usable? Thanks! :)

Great, I'll probably be on the realism mode, I don't like hitting enemies loads to get a kill, especially when they're not wearing armour. I can't wait for the mounted combat, seems like something which should've been added as a skill at least to vanilla. By the way, I know nothing of programming or modding games, you got any tips? Like a basic program or something I could use to get me started? :)

I'd love to write some quests for this mod to be able to help with making it in some way, I imagine you've already got a fair few of people writing, but if you need anyone to do certain types of quests then I could give it a shot. :)

Great, sounds like how Skyrim should be lol :) Always annoyed me when you'd get people running around attacking you with arrows sticking out of their head...glad it'll be more realistic and immersive. :)

Cool, will the bows be like on Skyrim (tedious and underpowered) or will they pack a bigger punch? Like 1 hit head shots and upper body kills? :) I promise to stop hassling you with questions if you answer this lol :)

Cool, got this on Skyrim at the moment, just wish I could kill some Lord of the Rings style Orcs with it. Just a quick question if you don't mind answering - The combat in Skyrim is a bit useless (takes about 3 sword swings or arrows to kill someone when it should only really take 1) what enhancements are likely to be included? :) I'd much appreciate your time answering this question. :)

Hey guys, looking awesome, can't wait for this to be released! I'm wondering, because you plan to add new races, will each race just look different or will they have other features too? For example, combat ability, resistances and unique interactions with NPC's (Like in Skyrim they have a form of 'racism')?

Nice one, will there be a particular amount of time in which you have to do things, like a schedule or something? And will the free roam one be like on Skyrim where you start things going by accepting quests etc. or will it be the player can turn up to events as they would normally happen in the books?
