Thx guys, it's WIP cause this is just a screeny from out ZBrush. The textures are still in progress. The beard has already been altered some days ago. The original texture was pretty crappy/ low res. Didn't find the texture I'm looking for yet and I'd rather want to avoid mixing fotorealistic texture with hand painted.
Once the model is textured, I'll at alphaed planes to it featuring moss, lichen, foilage etc. I'll post an update then! ;)

They will be. A full unplayable race with dialogue, not just dumb giants like in Skyrim
Slow dialogue that is, I hope. Because ents generally don't say anything, unless it's worth the long time that it takes to say it ;)
Yeah, but that is also partially personality. For example, Quickbeam talks faster than most ents (probably just normal speed for us) while others that are "treeish" talk slower.

I think he needs some protuberances, some twigs etc. cause he looks too polished but that's just my opinion.
Well, he's an ent not a tree :P. So such additions are not a necessity.
He DOES look a bit smooth. Which would be cool, if that were the overall look you were going for....

Damn, that's awesome 0.0 Is that TheDaywalker's work? (I think it is, since I see an analogy between TDW and TheDayWalker :P) I like how smooth it lookes. The movie version was too tree like. His skin looks more like actual skin in this render, instead of bark.

Ya know, This might be the first mod to ever impress me enough to possibly buy a whole new rig so that I may run this lovely mod as if I were actually in the battles! So can't wait for this mod to make more and more progress along the road. Great work guys!
Also, These mod volunteers really inspired me to look into modding practices, I'm really in the mood. ;D
