After a massive space-borne bacteria has killed or mutated most of humanity, Kyle Rogers is awoken to an alien Earth and must rescue the 10000 humans locked in cryostasis if humanity is to ever walk the Earth again. Wake Up Call is a story-based cinematic and immersive first person action game, centered in a original sci-fi atmosphere and background. Wake Up Call aims to bring the best of puzzle gameplay and immersive combat controls to the first person action genre, and, most importantly to craft a breath-taking storyline with believable characters, beautiful narrative storytelling, and an entirely first-person experience. Wake Up Call aims to set a new mark in indie game development, utilizing the power of the Unreal Development Kit to bring amazing art, wonderful storytelling, and immersive gameplay all into one package that any sci-fi fan has to own.

Hey guys, this update brings some new media, a new music piece, and some news on our progress. Also, from now on, I will be posting our current milestone/objective and the percentage progress on it. Enjoy the screens and leave a comment.

Let's start off with music, here is the new piece, a sweet little action track composed by none other than our very own Luciano Giacomozzi.

Team Progress:
We have been adding a few more team members, and I am trying to work out some collaboration deals with other small UDK indie studios. As for the new additions, I have had two very good additions to the 3D Department and both of them are extremely dedicated and make content quite quickly. Needless to say, you will be seeing some of their work very soon. I have been working on one of our levels, making additions and progress on its BSP shell stage, and I have been working on creating layouts for other levels on paper. At my current progress rate, which is higher than it has ever been thanks to school being basically over, I should have finished the basic blockout of this level and started on the next one by the end of May. Otherwise, the first rough draft of the whole script is about 30% done, and we are finishing up all the content needed for the Teaser.
Media Release:
There is a ton of new media, including Level WIP shots and a paint-over. The paint-over is basically Max painting on top of a Level WIP shot so we can get a better feel for the area and maybe some good ideas for geometry. Here they are, starting with the paint-over, and moving down through the WIP stuff. ![]()

On top of working on Wake Up Call, in these last few weeks, I have been working on VFX for a short action movie project, starring many of the actors that will be in Wake Up Call as well. This is the outcome of about 20 hours worth of work, all packed into a wonderful trailer, and, needless to say, I have a TON of work ahead of me. "Well, because of all these changes in team structure and organization and whatnot, there also will be changes to how we share our work with you guys out there. For a while we will be silent while we regroup and push forward. Now, we will try to start updating you more often as soon as we can, but I think it will take a good month or two to get to starting updates again. But we will do it when we are ready to do it. And, once we do start to share again, updates will probably be bi-weekly rather than weekly, so one update every two weeks. Updates will also have plenty of video content of prototypes, features, etc."
Don't worry, we are not dead. We are waiting to get our momentum back before showing you guys new stuffs. New concepts ,renders, songs, ect. are made everyday. Plus ee got some pretty amazing new members on our team. We will be back in a couple weeks with more contents than ever before.
Oh, I knew this; In fact I was first to comment. But still, It's been great seeing what you guys can do.
Max has it right on. We are regrouping as I said in the news update, and we are making more progress than you know. Hopefully we will give you a couple 'mid-void' updates on things like our main character in game and such. Then, once the teaser trailer is done (we are trying to get to a point where we can work on it), we will come back in full swing with bi-weekly updates and plenty of stuff to show off to all of our fans!
Looks very good, concepts of weapons are amazing, you have something solid here.
I do Level Design and 3D Modelling for Men of War/Men of War: Assault Squad, i actually looked at this and had the urge to ask to help you with the development, possibly 3d modelling side since i havn't fully explored the level design area of UDK yet.
But i have to not add something else to my busy work and the fact i only work on a paid per completion basis, may come back in the future when i'm done with things and this is still around, i'll offer some help. Unless you are able to do something?
Anyway, good idea and i'm off back to doing what i do best.
We have no money with which we could pay you, so that won't work yet, but maybe down the road, feel free to contact us at any time.
