Collin's Music For Wake Up Call, We Will Miss Him!

Wake Up Call is a single player, sci-fi stealth-action FPS that has a heavy emphasis on atmosphere, story, and immersive gameplay. The game is set in a post-post-apocalypse world, over 150 years after “The Collapse”, in the year 2257 CE. No one knows exactly what happened, beyond that it was a disease of some sort. This disease killed nearly 40% of the world’s population, causing massive destabilization of governments and the ensuing mess of violence and conflict whittled down the world’s population to only 5% of the population before “The Collapse”. 75% of those who weren't killed were mutated and the rest were immune to the bacteria.
The mutated people, known as mutations, had suffered partial skin necrosis, loss of hair color, and other small physical changes, but the main mutation was in their mind. Mutations had an increased vulnerability to insanity, paranoia, and extremely short temper. Despite these differences, mutations were still similar enough to humans that they could interbreed and produce offspring of both the human and mutation genome.
Eventually, society grew again in places all over the world as it stabilized and anarchy ceded to order. Flash forward to 2257 CE, in the old capital city of the USA. A powerful and disturbed dictator, Davos Kaledin, has taken control of The Kalders, the only big organized nation-state in the area. Davos has instituted policy to make humans second-class to mutations. The Scarred, a self-proclaimed resistance group, had launched a failed revolution against Davos in 2254, incurring massive losses on both sides. Now, The Scarred lives in the less-traveled areas of the city and in the forests,
utilizing guerrilla tactics to try to keep Davos on his toes.
Kyle Rogers, an ex-special ops soldier from before The Collapse, has been woken up from cryostasis by a young human woman named Tori. He quickly learns of a massive underground Cryostation which holds thousands of humans from before “The Collapse” in cryostasis, and he has to power up a series of four relays before opening the station himself.
But, it won’t be long before Kyle realizes there is more to this world than his mission and that the secrets of this world are more dangerous than the bacteria that caused “The Collapse” in the first place.
Wake Up Call will focus on bringing the world to life, portraying strong characters in a realistic post-apocalyptic scenario, and teleporting the player into the shoes of Kyle Rogers. Wake Up Call aims to set a new mark in indie game development, utilizing the power of the Unreal Development Kit to bring amazing art, wonderful storytelling, and immersive gameplay all into one epic adventure that any and all sci-fi fans will just need to have.

Hey guys, long time no see/hear. We have come back from the temporary grave/void to reveal some new content and recruit some new members. But first, let me tell you of Wake Up Call's progress since we last popped up here.
Wake Up Call is in full production mode. Our Programmer, Rodion, is working especially hard to get our basic gameplay mechanics in place. Meanwhile, despite losing several members, our Concept Art and 3D Art teams are still working hard as well. We expect to have a small gameplay taste within the next month or two for all of you that have been waiting ever so patiently. I am excited too, believe me, this has been a long time coming. So, all things are pretty good on the development front, and I am glad to be coming back to the public eye and promote WuC some more!
We hope to be able to put out more content in the coming weeks, leading up to some larger announcements and goodness! I hope to see all of you when we show off more of what we have been working on!
We know you have been itching to see more content, and today brings a double-feature, so sit back, relax, and let your eyeballs come out of your face.
Now, for those who have gotten this far, if you are a Concept Artist or 3D Artist, we want you!
We are mainly looking for those specializing in environments like the first concept we showed here, but we are going to evaluate everyone. If you are interested in joining an established, organized team with a clear vision, email careers@leatharianstudios.com.
Thanks, hope to see you all soon! Keep an eye out for news on the game, and like our FB page to stay updated: https://www.facebook.com/wakeupcallgame

Hello
im a concept artist. Im currently looking for a project i can help out in some sort of way. I want to be a comic book artist/writer, sometime in the future. so im looking for projects to help me evolve my skills. I checked some of your concept arts and thought it seemed interesting and something i could relate to. Im not very good at coloring or environmental drawings. My style consist mostly of comic styled incs. Characters or perhaps comics ill gladly create. Anyways, if you guys are interested, ill gladly join your team.

Hope to hear from you!
congrats on getting in the top 100! I didn't vote for you, but still congrats lol
now i voted :D
Yay, I know, I never even thought we stood a chance in hell to get top 100!
You've really come a long way. I think your concept artist deserves at least a year supply of cheez its, as I'm sure thats where most of your watchers were pulled in from. Your modular environments for the crychambers and such look fantastic as well. Still gotta work on that gun, lol. Definatley worth the vote though. Hard to believe how young you are o-o
Anyway, congrats. I'll continue to provide my nonstop and annoying criticisms.
Thanks man, and I think Max just well summed it all up right below my comment.
Your criticisms is far from annoying, it's people like you that will help us making the best game as possible. As one of the concept artist of this project I really find your comment amazingly touching, but just wait to see what the rest of the team can do, you'll be amaze as well! :P Just keep commenting on everything we are showing, keep telling us your opinion and that's how we are going to make an amazing game.
Glad to hear. And man, you have some amazing work. I haven't found it extraneously detailed, but the way you capture the zeitgeist of post-apocalyptic earth is absolutely amazing.
Thank you! Yeah my works aren't very detailed... I suppose it will come with time haha. Actually this project is such a great way to improve!
I know right!!
