Description
This program allow you to see into the big files in games like Quake 2 (go look in the BaseQ2 sub directory, see the big PAK0.PAK file, that's one) and extract files to anywhere you want easily. By using the HyperRipper (included) you can also scan files for know formats (MP3,OGG,WAV,AVI,TGA,BMP,...). For some custom games texture formats you can convert them to TGA or BMP for easy use.

or, one can simply rename the pak000.pk4 into pak000.zip and then unzip it, that also works :) shame this program never managed to handle the .res and other files in the Project IGI game cuss theres many nice sounds in that game
Ahh this program.. I admit I used it at one point to copy some sounds in the original FEAR to make some of the sounds in a HL mod better. ( This was just my end, never used it in any official release of anything )
.. though this was a long time ago back when fear1 was new itself :p
Very usefull,lots of games are supported.A must have app for every modder.
