The Raycasting Game Maker is a free easy to use game editor that creates simple raycasting games in the style of Wolf3D. The finished game needs only two files to run, an executable and a pak file with the game data. The game runs in Windowed- or Fullscreen Mode and supports 16 and 32 bit color.

I don't know who the makers of RGM are, I'm just adding it to ModDB as I made a game using it.

RGM 4.50 has been released!! You can now change the bullet speed using a config file located in the rgmsys folder. You just edit the bullet number (1-5) you want to change the speed for and then save the config file. The next update has to do with sound. The bullets now have sound effects that didn't work in the previous release. The sound effects are associated with the player bullet sounds. For example, if you have a sound effect for bullet 1 when you shoot, that same sound effect will be used for enemy bullet 1 when they shoot. That's it for now. Hope you enjoy.

Sorry about not uploading the latest version to ModDB sooner guys, I haven't been on ModDB recently and only I have access to editing this page (I'm not a dev, I just offered to upload to and maintain the ModDB page over a year back I think).

If anyone wants to help, like post news or tutorials, just PM me. Specify how you want to help to make it believable though, I don't want this page destroyed (I'll probably just give you access to post articles/images though at first).

Find the "weaponXbitmapZ" file, where "X" - number of weapon, and where "Z" - number of frame. Those files don't have a format, so add it - "weapon1bitmap1.bmp". And now! Open this file through graphic editor (such as Paint.NET, Photoshop), make the 128x128 (or bigger) size, place your weapon sprite on top left. Save it, delete the ".bmp" format in the name of file. And compile your game as usual.
