The Raycasting Game Maker is a free easy to use game editor that creates simple raycasting games in the style of Wolf3D. The finished game needs only two files to run, an executable and a pak file with the game data. The game runs in Windowed- or Fullscreen Mode and supports 16 and 32 bit color.

Description

Apparently this version is a demo, and is INCOMPATIBLE with games being created in versions below v5. Mirror download can be found on creator's site. Latest version as of 08/18/15. From creator's site: The Version 5.xx uses 128x128 Resolution for Textures/Sprites and 640x400 Resolution for the Screen- Bitmaps.

I can't actually find a changelog on his site or in the game files, so it looks like there isn't one & I have no way to contact the dev. The only change I'm sure of is the increased sprite/texture size & higher res screen-bitmaps [for this].

If anyone else knows the changes feel free to share =T

Bithandler going to update this great gem? I got it working near flawlessly on WINE, so I doubt no one has an excuse to not use this awesome gem on Linux, or any other NIX's like Mac OS X and BSD.

128x128 for sprites preferably png format,

go to settings in the raycast engine window, it will show controls.
