A note about the video. For some reason ModDB kills the contrast. The video is in total way too dark compared to the source video. If you can't see it well you can get the full version at Dragengine.rptd.ch ( ~20MB ).

Description

A test room with two fully dynamic point light sources casting solid and half shadows using noise-PCF encoded color cube maps. This video uses no reduction code since the screen size is relatively small. For larger screens a reduction of 2 improves speed. Due to the capturing software the speed is rather poor. The capture software hooks into OpenGL and drops the render speed by 50% and more. Furthermore it interferes with the physics simulation which is the reason for the odd lamp swing in the video. This test runs without the capture software at 50-70 fps with proper physics.

Side notes: You can see here also new Epsylon related stuff like picking up small rocks and throwing them ( enemy distraction ) or the improved flashlight image.
