Star Wars: Interregnum is an upcoming mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion that builds off of the highly successful Enhanced 4X Mod. Fleeing the unknown terror that is chasing the Vasari, the factions of Sins of a Solar Empire stumble on a temporary wormhole that takes them to a galaxy far, far away. Apologies for the recent lack of updates here. We've been working hard to get both E4X and Interregnum updated for 1.93 and the Minor Factions DLC, while still making progress on the New Republic.
Speaking of Minor Factions, over the next few days, we'll be announcing the initial roster of local governments, organizations, and mercenary groups that will be present on the galactic stage in Interregnum. As a preview, here are the icons for the factions we currently have planned.

Ok, I recognize the Hapes consortium, the corporate sector, a symbol that reminds me of the Pentastar alignment, and an odd coloring of the Galactic Senate logo. No idea what the rest are but I'd guess there might be a separatist holdout faction? some minor imperial warlords- Eriadu authority or something from the deep core? and something the looks an awful lot like a symbol from the Chaos faction from Warhammer 40k. What I'd love to see is some of the other minor rebellions- like the Clone rebellion on Kamino that only uses old republic ships.
Either way, keep up the amazing work, its always worth the wait!
The Galactic Senate Logo was used for the Non-Aligned worlds faction that often defended certain planets with Rebel ships. Their planets had a special bonus that revolved around their status of being non-aligned.
My guess is the Imperial Symbol will be the Eriadu Authority or an expansion of the Imperial Renegades that we see defending Imperial worlds.
CSA, Hutts, and Hapes are pretty obvious but the rest is a mystery to me.
Top-middle is Corellia. The symbol can be seen in their flag from Galaxies.
Oh good lord the CSA, a minor faction they are not.
On the scale of the playable factions they are. Just less minor than most. :-)

Ah, I checked wookiepedia and the only symbol I saw was for the secret order of the emperor :(
Still, I don't know many of those listed and it is only 10 of 15...
