Star Wars: Interregnum is an upcoming mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion that builds off of the highly successful Enhanced 4X Mod. Fleeing the unknown terror that is chasing the Vasari, the factions of Sins of a Solar Empire stumble on a temporary wormhole that takes them to a galaxy far, far away. The sudden arrival of armadas with trillions of refugees and thousands of warships between the events of Episodes 5 & 6 forever alters the Star Wars universe and plunges the galaxy into an unprecedented period of chaos and violence. Faction 4: Dxun Mercenaries

In the wake of the Mandalorian Wars and the subsequent Jedi Civil War, the Mandalorian clans were scattered, scarred, and fragmented. Newly acclaimed Mandalore Canderous Ordo was faced with the impossible task of attempting to reunite the clans and reconcile their history. With this goal in mind, Ordo's first action as Mandalore was to return his clan to Dxun, the world that had serverd as the Neocrusader stronghold. From there, he began the slow process of rallying clans to his banner. Ultimately, he would fail, and the clans would remain splintered for centuries.
In the many thousand years since then, the core of Clan Ordo has remained on Dxun, choosing not to engage with a succession of Mandalores or with any centralized forces from Keldabe- even those of the current Mandalore, Boba Fett.
Through the centuries, they have quietly leased their services as exceptional mercenaries to many of the galaxy's larger powers, and they continue this tradition in the Interregnum.
