Having started as a simple bug fix patch for Rise of the Reds, Hanpatch has evolved into a fully-fledged addon. Built expressly for the latest version of the mod at the time, it preserves, enhances and expands the vanilla experience with new high-quality content, balance tweaks, quality of life improvements and hundreds of bug fixes. Continuously updated, its findings and bug fixes are tested, iterated on, and contributed to future Rise of the Reds versions.

Hello and welcome back! As I outlined in the last year's end of year message, HanPatch has been paused in order to focus on the next official version of Rise of the Reds.
That remains unchanged. No doubt many will have seen the streams and official updates regarding 1.9 and understood that it's going to be a very large update. Much larger than previously anticipated. Both me and M.P. remain focused on that, while working out the details for the next version of HanPatch.
I cannot promise a date when either 1.9 or new HanPatch will release; there is still much work to do! But rest assured that many ideas are committed and pitched internally. Some of them you might see prematurely; officially!
The SWR Community Discord remains the place to go for unannounced tester streams and Maelstrom streams, sneak peeks and tester/developer comments, HanPatch feedback and games, as well as everything else ROTR related! And, of course, GenLauncher remains the go-to way to install ROTR and other popular mods!
