After 5 years of hiatus, the ultimate update of quake 4 weapons rip is here. Currently on open alpha, it features all base weapons and improved decorate behaviour. Weapons were ripped again for 16:9.

This is the best weapon rip ever. It's fitting to the whole world of doom (surroundings, monsters etc.)
The weapon designs and sounds are great (thanks id software). Enjoyed playing and i will work on a new mapset that works with quake 2 textures and q4 weapons.
Doom will always be the legendary work of ID Soft. Keep up the good work everyone!

This is a great work, one of the best weaponsets for doom. This mod are simple, agressive and well balanced. But in prox versions please remove all the enemy behavior, because it will be compatible with Brutal Doom Only Monsters. If you load BD Only Monsters togueter, some graphics become corrupted.
Welp, the mod is not compatible with most bd things, because the mod uses custom damage types that would affect certain weapon functions, therefore breaking my own mod.
That being said, i've removed all custom monsters (except for lost soul) and kept only their modified projectiles. So, theorically, it could be possible to replace monsters sometime on the future more easily.
Wait for hotfix 1 in some days.

After some months without my pc, finally i can to return to play DooM, i saw the new Brutal DooM v21 (the new Icon of Sin is terrifying) and the new Quake 4 Weapons's version, and the new Q4W is amazing! The Q4W is better than de original BDv21 weapon set. I had so much fun with this mods, but i saw some bugs.
The console spams the warning "p_startscript" oftentimes, and the enemy's projectiles spawn some radioactive graphics (specially the revenant!).
BDv21 fixed a bug that hit the crosshairs, if Q4W becomes compatible with that, a lot of people would be happy to kill the new Icon of Sim with the Q4W! :-D
A great weaponset with very good spritework and smooth animations. The oblique maps are going well with this especialy because of the ambient sounds. Some of the weapon sounds could need some work though. I hope this project will go further with polishing. It deserves far more reconition for sure. (The mod of dbthanatos is also great and finalized allraedy, but this one has the better weapon feeling and sprites in my opinion.)
