After 5 years of hiatus, the ultimate update of quake 4 weapons rip is here. Currently on open alpha, it features all base weapons and improved decorate behaviour. Weapons were ripped again for 16:9.
After 5 years of hiatus, the ultimate update of quake 4 weapons rip is here. Now that the mod is pretty much completed, it features both base and upgraded weapons, an optional arena mode without reload mechanics, heretic and multiplayer compatibility and several quality of life improvements, plus lots of bugfixes and improved zandronum compatibility.. Also, i've just added brightmaps to the mod. So, yeh. hot stuff.
The open alpha ripped all weapons again for 16:9 ratio and improved the base weapons behaviour while open beta included the weapon mod's (for the first time ever on alphaent's q4 rips).
The version 1.0 now includes an arena mode without reloads, akin to multiplayer and heretic/zandronum compatibility.
Now, version 1.4 adds brightmaps, which makes weapons glow in the dark.

* Fixed napalm "ratio damage" frequency. Now it works the intended way.
* Added a "secret script" to get all upgrades at once, no matter which skill you choose.
* Tweaked some animations on nailgun power.
* Deleted bob animation on lightning gun, for the sake of accuracy. (requested feature)
* Replaced sounds for blaster charged up, hyperblaster and nailgun projectile explode.
* Added sounds for hyperblaster projectile fly.
* Updated optional 360p weapon rips.
* Added a menu option to bind each weapon individually.
* Added brightmaps to all weapons.
* Machinegun, shotgun and nailgun now has hitsounds on walls and flesh (code taken from q4lfmde)
