The Week of March 23 2018
Today we're releasing version 0.88.5 of the Sins of the Prophets public alpha! This update includes numerous balance changes, bug fixes, new abilities, and art asset overhauls! A full changelog will be available at the bottom of the post, but I'll quickly go over some of the more eye-catching updates here.
Fallout 4: New Vegas aims to recreate Obsidian Entertainment's Fallout: New Vegas in Fallout 4's Creation Engine, with all of the original quests, story and content, with additional gameplay elements and systems from the new and improved engine!
This new champion has been added to v1.1 of QCDE which happens to have been released today, along with two Quake 3 maps: Aerowalk and Vertical Vengeance.
Epic Games today announced that Unreal Engine 4 developers now have access to a full array of assets from Paragon, the company’s high-end multiplayer online battle arena game. The assets, built at a cost of over $12 million, include 20 AAA-quality characters, with their respective skins, animations, VFX and dialogue, along with over 1,500 environment components from Paragon.
After two attempts, Ken Silverman began writing a successor to the popular Build engine while mentoring a smart local kid in 2006. It eventually became BUILD2 and he continued working on it until 2011.
