This may sound (and probalby is) super greedy, but I remember you saying in your Corey Loses LP that the Pentastar Alignment is much closer to beeing done, than then EotH. And I appreciate you taking all the time you need to finish everything.

But Is there any chance you for you to release like a 0.96 Version of Ascendancy with the Pentastar Alignment as a 3rd faction?
This would be a little stage win, and reduce the overall total workload for the single releases and you could get wider bugreports on one faction earlier.
Also it would make us happy :P.

Seems that I never knew the definition of "soon", since 2 months ago they posted the news about "Releasing soon". I'll have to wait and check what developers mean by this. Might be useful - when someone will ask me to do something I'll just say that I'll do this soon. I'll have x months free untill I have to move my ***.

I was doing some research on the ME AMD 3dnow! issue newer AMD processors have. Since my knowledge on that end is very limited I couldn't learn too much but I found instructions provided by AMD on how to substitute the 3Dnow! instructions in general. Page 363 seems to provide useful information for someone who knows more about this technical topic. The document is called "AMD64 Architecture Programmer’s Manual, Volume 5"

Okay, finally I identified where the problem was. I ran your mod with Campaign Enabler mod from here Gamefront.com. When I disabled that mod, yours worked as intended.

It seems that your mod is not compatible with that mod, or that mod is very buggy since it was from 2008. It would be nice if you could take a look and make it compatible to each other. I would like to try myself but I don't know how to read scd files.

For the hard AI topic, here are some suggestions. I don't know about the technical difficulty of the coding, but it would just be nice if you could make it happen.

Allies:
1. Always make their own bases once they are "freed" by us, like Amalia of mission 5, and always expand to really push hard to the enemies. In mission 5, I find that her base is too... insignificant.
2. Always make their own base's defenses. These include point defenses, tactical and strategic defenses, and shields. Lots of shields.
3. Always upgrade their bases as efficiently as possible.
4. Always make their own units to engage the enemies as massively and as effectively as possible, including T3 artilleries and experimentals.
5. Always expanding their bases. Eventually, producing nukes and really shooting at the enemies.

Enemies:
1. The same as the allies above.
2. Taking different paths to attack us. In mission 1, the Seraphim doesn't use the land area south of his path to Fletcher's base at all.
3. Always trying building their new forward bases on the blank area and the area that we might have cleansed before, and expanding them. In this way, the player might lose the supremacy over the conquered area.
4. Always building lots of T3 artilleries and experimentals.
5. Always building lots of base defenses and shields.

The enemies need to be at least 5 times stronger in offense and 20 times in defense, so it won't matter whether the player turtled or not before the map expansion. I could always destroy the next map expansion's target in less than 2 minutes just by preparing 100 or so T3 bomber planes. I don't even need any experimental or new base.

It might be unrealistic, but it's cool to have a campaign that is more challenging than playing skirmish.

Does not work at all for me. Even some of the shortcuts in the menu are broken. Reinstalling did not help anything. If I want to play any part of the mod, it tells me it can not find MOHAA.exe though it is in the folder that it was installed in. MOHAA-Configure.exe brings an error. When I click on configure in the menu it does not find any of the configuration files though they are there.
This mod is not playable at the moment. :(

German Windows XP SP3 32bit, ATI graphic card with most recent driver, DirectX 9.0c. My other games are just running fine.

Is there any chance you can join in the Project Reality Master server? Forgotten Hope 2 does that (They have some kind of deal I guess).
That System allows hosting of your own server.

Ever spoken to them?

(Their Master Server Code is also Open Source software, so you could use it to host your own master server, if you can't / don't want to work out a deal with them.)

Actually, while helping with coding or other such work might be difficult, as depending on internet volunteers is usually a bad idea (they tend to lack conviction for the mod.) If he relies on others, then those others would have deadlines to meet, the quality of their work would have to be same as Vic's, etc.

Working with photoshop might be more realistic. All Vic would have to do is upload the original files, provide instructions on what he wants done, and the rest is up to us. If luck is on our side, someone makes the alterations and a part of the mod is complete. If not, then Vic can do the work himself.

It would be like a contest. Who can make the best Gothic spell scrolls? And since there are no "contracts" he doesn't have to be sending emails back and forth.

As a follower of ap since the very first release I am very glad to finally get the chance (after being overseas for a long time) to try 0.3!

I really like the weapon handling. It reaches PR levels of comfort.
They just feel right. (Apart from appearent beta things like the very low accuracy of the G3).
Really solid execution!

Jones, I have one question tho.
What is the recommended way of playing with bots in this mod,
Local Coop or Singleplayer?

If it is coop I don't get why you ship an aidefault file that includes "overridemenusettings 1" as that interferes with the coop settings.

I like the detail that the Deep Core is always present on the maps, even when it is not reachable.
Gives you a sense of where in the galaxy you are in relation to it and of the scale.
It's appearance is subject to change I assume, and the "star" is just a placeholder.

The mod's crashing every time I go and start a custom battle. I installed the latest mod version , the patch 3 , and the audio-video mod. I also reinstalled it again yet nothing happens. Help?
