Very good idea to add this to a non-total overhaul like AAW. I always felt like the Executor could use a counterpart. It just seemed like the Rebels got the short end of the stick while the empire got this big ship abd Death Star as somewhat hidden extra units.

I really do hope a fresh install and new patch increases my stability. Even with the small patches you released too much artillery on the field can still make me crash. Sad caveat to an otherwise great mod.

Having a lot of fun with this. Getting the occasional 'uh-oh' crash with ottomans but reloading usually solves it, gonna try the 4 gig patch later. However, I do feel like the byzantine general's bodyguard are way too high on HP. Even when swarmed with spearmen they take insanely long to kill.

I hope it doesn't make gameplay excruciatingly painful because every turn you get to fight with 20 units of 40 men

The chatter seems way too much from the droids. That'll get really annoying imo. The high pitched noise also sounds painful. Idk what it even is.

I wanna point out that these Gymnasterki (the chest pieces) are the 1943 model. The 1935 model used in 1941 was quite different. Key among them was the presence of pockets. In fact, some 43 models still had pockets, as they were converted from 35 models, but it was deemed wasteful to get rid of the pocket.

My biggest gripe with the mod has always been unit visibility (well that and my issues with how I struggle a ton with independents whereas the AI seems to be just fine in rolling over them). The models and textures are insanely beautiful, and I find it a huge shame that we can't see them properly, even if the reasoning for it makes sense. I can already see myself playing these maps a lot.

Remembered yesterday vanilla crashed on me too on my new pc when i tried 5 months ago. Was related to my gpu, apologies.

For those having the same issues with an RX 5700 XT, turn off AMD optimised Tesselation in Radeon settings and move to MLAA

did this, held out for a little bit longer (about 5 mins) but still crashed

does it save the crashes i get every time when playing a battle in campaign mode though? haven't been able to play a battle for more than 5 secs before crashing
