In fact, some 43 models still had pockets, as they were converted from 35 models, but it was deemed wasteful to get rid of the pocket.
Yes, you're right, these are 1943 tunics. I made them for a variety of uniforms so that Soviet uniforms don't look the same. Low-ranking Soviet troops will have 1941 uniforms.
