This mod catapults Empire at War into 2077. It maintains the game's design philosophy, while adding new units, better graphics, and deeper gameplay.
Featured here is the new Mos Alamos frontline map, made by me. Frontlines is a new game mode for ground skirmish. As the name suggests, this game mode features large scale battles on huge thematic maps that try to convey the feeling of a real war. Opposed to the convoluted base game maps, the new maps usually are large plains with multiple frontlines and control points. There will be smaller or larger cities with multiple bunkers and houses that can be manned by infantry to create a proper urban style warfare.
Damn. If ground battles in GCs are as immersive and cinematic as this I will be seriously impressed.
I love how combat takes place over greater distances.
The chatter seems way too much from the droids. That'll get really annoying imo. The high pitched noise also sounds painful. Idk what it even is.
Does look really cool though. Would make for great wallpaper engine stuff.
Droids do what they are best at: being annoying. But don't worry, I reduced their chatter already. Problem was that they die way too quick lol
I love the Top Gun chatter
Started as a meme but I quite like the top gun chatter so it will most likely stay^^
It should!
These two videos are so like... Noughties cinematic. Heavily reminded of old animated RTS main menu backgrounds (e.g. C&C Generals) with that sort of cinematic camera gameplay thing.
My only issue was already mentioned (the loud beep) so yeah, just a cool map. Love how the buildings are put together for sure.
