Version 3 summed up in a sentence:
Good luck navigating the front page, let alone anything else.
I always said it would be fun to have melee only bar fights. And this was way back in 2.5.
I don't really play anymore anyways. Something changed that caused it to run worse on my machine (the riverboat is totally unplayable). Didn't care for the new mix and match dual wield either.
Warpath and rock2 forever.
Is that a PU scope on a hex receiver I see there? Tsk tsk.
I haven't used GM in years, not since YoYo took over, but I still have a soft spot for it.
My progression of learning game design started with OHRRPGCE, which I got my first taste of scripting with in HamsterSpeak. After that I began with Game Maker; drag and drop at first, then scripting, and eventually using DLL extensions. It was a fairly painless transition from that to C.
Damn, all this bitching is making me wanna reinstall source to try it out even more. I was an avid FA fan back in the day. I will always believe that mod beat the hell out of every team based goldsrc and source based mod I've ever played.
Even the modern FPS games don't stand up to it. From Halo to MW2, none compare.
I've peaked around 130-140 wpm. Writing code for hours on end each day will do that to you.
Boxing gloves + zoo = 3 rounds with a kangaroo????
I'm rockin' a P4 1.6 ghz. Only the most recent technology doesn't run well on my PC.
The clowns wouldn't happen to be a ZAMN reference...would they?
Should've read the image description. Awesome addition.
I rather enjoyed 1918. I remember playing one of the early releases, damn shame there aren't as many servers as there were then.

Are you planning on adding VIP? Also, could you elaborate on the vehicles? Because custom model based ones would make for a kickass revival of the crazytank maps. If you didn't like crazytank then you are a commie and aren't worthy of the genius that is Nipper.
FA has always been good with teamwork. I know in my days core players would provide support and cover for the less experienced, albeit just coincidentally. However artillery is a useless skill to have, unless you can convince someone to get artillery 1 and actually call in strikes.
BTW, are you guys adding artillery skills?
I always liked how the m82 was handled in firearms, it was a rarity to see it deployed. But when it was the person behind the scope was someone who knew what they were doing. Unlike the awp in CS.
I think the only reason Yoshi would be the most popular is because he is a little better offroad than the others. Oh, and Luigi all the way.
I may enter. I have a few great ideas, just need to remember proper handling of AI and triggers (will use a lot of them).
Aw, you guys could've pushed for a CS 1.7 while you were at it. I support you guys, even though I haven't played L4D since I quite enjoy killing zombies on TS and BB for goldsrc (not even sure if there are servers anymore). Not to mention that VALVe has become another soulless corporate entity not unlike Microsoft.
That's the first thing I noticed too.
Booom was kicking red's *****.
Loved the mod. Very nice. Only thing I'd like to see added is a quick switch b/t primary and secondary weapons. And open areas are a little laggy, but it probably doesn't help I'm running on a near 10 year old PC.
Looks awesome. Can't wait for release.
I agree. Brainbread is the only zombie mod worth a damn.
As long as you guys didn't nerf my 249/1911 combo this will jump to the top of my favorite source mods.
Wait wait wait. You need SM3? Damn. Mine only supports 2.
Isn't that cs_iraq? Good times, good times. The missiles detonated if you shot them too (if I remember right). That was back when CS was truly fun. Pre-voice, Ts moving hosties, and there was an APC on cs_siege. I liked those days.
I will strike fear into the hearts of the Blues with my mighty bell of death. *ding ding*
Now I wanna play Galactic Conquest and run the little box droid around :D . Fear my 9-volt!
