Sven Co-op is holding an official mapping contest! Apart from general quality, the main criteria is that entries be unconventional -- emphasizing unique gameplay, custom content, etc.
Three grand prize winners will be chosen, and awarded the following prizes:
1st: $70 USD -OR- Up to $70 USD worth of Steam gifts, plus 3 Noesis training modules of your choice
2nd: $50 USD -OR- Up to $50 USD worth of Steam gifts, plus 2 Noesis training modules of your choice
3rd: $35 USD -OR- Up to $35 USD worth of Steam gifts, plus 1 Noesis training module of your choice
All three grand prize winners will also receive an official Sven Co-op T-shirt and the opportunity to have their maps included with the next version of Sven Co-op! All other qualifying entries will be released in an official map pack.

I kind of hope this will in return attract more people to play the mod.

It's a worldwide competition, by the way. No problem if you're in Argentina.
I can map. I've been mapping for 3 years now. I just can't map for worldcraft. I may look into it again. It might be a useful skill to learn.
Only map for source engine but I don't mind learning worldcraft. Always wanted to make maps for SC, but I think I'll actually do it this time. Great mod and can always use some good fresh maps.
I may enter. I have a few great ideas, just need to remember proper handling of AI and triggers (will use a lot of them).
