steamapps\common\ looks wrong I think. I have been trying to figure out modding myself. As far as I can tell these modding tools are VERY sensitive to file location and pipeline. I tink you have to put the game files in C Drive. File order should look like C:\Program Files (x86)\THQ\Dawn of War - Soulstorm. Do not try to mod the game in the Steam game file order. That is why most modders use the Disk version of the game NOT the steam version.

So will this be for Unification 6.9 or is this a stand alone mod? I noticed the Unification mod doesn't seem to talk about this as a direct part of 6.9 (Unless I am mistaken). Or is this for something for Unification mod 7.5?

This guy has been the most helpful person I have found in this modding community. As someone new to modding Dow I can tell you it is difficult to get started and his Clockwork codex is VERY useful. I do not think he is trying to be condescending or rude in anyway. You however are being incredibly rude yourself though.

Cool for a moment I thought apoc might be over. Why are you not teaming up with the crucible though if you don't mind my asking. This does sound like a LOT of hard work to do by yourself? I love to help but I only started trying to learn how to make mods a few months ago and tutorials are HARD to find. It seems most beginner guides have been forgotten and deleted. I made my first map a week ago though and have started trying to add a new model into the game. ANY tutorials you could offer would be AMAZING for beginners like me. I would love to join the DoW1 modding community for the next 10 years and get to a place where I can join one of your big teams. I just need tutorials right now. You mentioned a "Clockwork Codex" that has a ton of tech help in modding dow1. PLEASE let me know when that is ready because I WILL read every last little bit of advice you can give. I will check back here once a week in hope you post the "Clockwork Codex". Right now the modding community seems to need a well made tutorial MORE than anything else. A lot of the older modders seem to have moved on and everyone from what I can tell seems to be having trouble finding new blood. I AM NEW BLOOD. PLEASE TEACH ME. If any of you create a new good tutorial new blood will be found.

Looks great good luck. I have only just entered the Dawn of War modding world a few months ago. I remembered playing this game when it first came out as a kid. So many good memories of playing this with my friends. I earlier this year I decided to play it again and to my wonderful surprise found the Unification and Ultimate Apoc mods. I hope you finish this it does look great. Having played all the mods I could find here I am now trying to learn how to make my own in hope of teaming up with some of you soon. I made my first map this week, once I have added in more detail I will upload here and then start looking at building my first new army.
