A short description of upcoming SL for SS fix. Mostly a set of small alterations.

I decided to fix some SL for SS mod issues which I can not tolerate anymore.


So, what exact issues will be fixed:

- The larger structure's footprints do the placement harder, so more place needed
- Most SL units have bigger line of sight in comparison with vanilla units
- Hotkeys are duplicated or not set
- Squad's ranged_attackrange parameter not aligned with Squad's role on battlefield
- SL cannot repair structures/units until Tier 2

- Featureless Cyclops Demolition Vehicle explosion effect
- Pioneers dies too easy even in comparison with regular troopers
- Pioneer's capture rate is extremely low without a reason
- Personal mine cost high for the "one time explosion"
- The scout sentinel moves and turns too slowly to be called "scout"
- Tank Ace can be built too early

How exactly is this fix going to be distributed? As SL patch or BT expansion as was originally intended? I´m looking forward to see SL updated :)

This fix going to be distributed as SL patch or as SL ver. 1.1 re-release.

Those BT expansion will have much more balance changes/reworks, and additional maps and even game mode(s).

I think it will be cool if someone make the Predator and the land Rider bigger , so the dreadnoughts and the space marines air vehicle for the vanilla Soul Storm in order to make them more up scale to the units of the 40K Miniature game, the same for chaos and the orcs Sisters of Battle , Eldars and Dark eldars, ..something like they did in the Fok mod but for the vanilla game...Just a suggestion.
