Hello there, just wanted to barge in to show my appreciation for this mod. I will just say that you truly captured the same good feel the new Doom games have in Doom 3. Now, Doom 3 in the style of Classic Doom/Quake, let alone getting close to that of nuDoom, is truly a majestic achievement. It is extremely odd how nobody ever made a mod to fix (change, depending on opinion...) Doom 3 like this except this one, and I was genuinely shocked the first time I learned this was last updated in 2020. You deserve a lot of praise among modders, I say -- and the fact you actually patched the main campaign and RoE to make full use of the gameplay changes really elevates it on another level. This is on par with a Classic Doom total conversion, if you seek some recognition, don't let Classic modders trample you, most of them got NOTHING on this.

Well I did not notice any 3D floors, to be honest.
I finally got around to playing this. Seems pretty nice so far, HUD's a bit spartan, but bearable. I discovered that trying to unload weapons has weird effects, including SSG crashing the game. I'm playing with the unfinished map pack too, but I don't see how it is related to the mod at all. It seems to use no ZDoom features, so I'm a bit puzzled, why make a campaign for a mod if it offers nothing exclusive compared to playing said mod on a random WAD? Still, I dig the modified textures. Great weapon sprites. But I see none of the "challenge" this mod proposes... I find no difference compared to vanilla Doom difficulty.

I really ******* doubt that, considering you're simping over the 3D models instead of the actual mod gameplay. HM is a noble Quake 3 themed TC, not a stupid monsterpack

Technically, you should be able to load a monster pack along with this with relatively little problems. The blunder is -- it'll be too easy. HM's weapons are too strong. Also, you know you can just extract the md3s from the pk3 right?

This is really unoptimized, any tips for increasing performance on my PC? I can run Doom 2016 just fine.
