i did all the steps for installation then it says it cant find steam when i try to launch it

some textures are not working i tried resetting my graphics, restarting my game that did not work, tried setting everything on high detail. i just tried ignoring it and my game crashes if i zoom on the non textured ships or buildings.please help

how do i install on steam not trying to be stupid but videos online want me to download like a hundred things
