Hey there! Sorry I didn't see your comment until way later, I've been in the middle of a move for months. Anyway, one thing to note about this mod is that it randomly crashes in the latest version of Half-Life and it isn't fixable as these bots' source code no longer exists. So in order to avoid these crashes, you'll want to go into Half-Life's properties in steam and select the "steam_legacy Pre-25th Anniversary Build" version. Hope you're able to have some fun! Also I'm a lady, not that it matters. lol

PacmanYT09 The ("literally no") reason that I changed the gravity was to match the gravity of Half-Life 1's Xen. You might try playing the original game that a mod is based on before making such brain damaged criticisms.

Cheers for the info and speedy reply, I can confirm you were correct and that with enough time it does load. The numbers on my HUD looked improperly scaled once I was in but I can troubleshoot that on my own time, thanks again! And good taste with the Beksiński!

I was really hyped to try this based on the features it advertised, but it simply does not work for me. I'm running base D3 v1.3.1.1304, D3HDPv2 runs just fine, 6th Venom HQ menu (as advised) runs just fine, but as soon as I patch doom3.exe with the large address aware patch (which I'm familiar with using from other games) then try to add Overdose, it no longer loads up from 'New Game', it just freezes when the loading bar reaches full. I tried the low-spec autoexec.cfg with no difference, this mod simply cannot pass the main menu for me.

This system is on Win10, Intel i7 CPU, GTX 1070, ASUS G20CB Motherboard; No issues with any other games.

Great job with this mod, it's the best 1.5 has been yet. I must recommend to put settings regarding the rapid fire shotgun upgrade, it is uncomfortably broken as-is. I would love to have a setting to reduce the boost rate or simply remove it.

This is quickly becoming one of my favorite Doom II conversion mods, but the lack of documentation is troublesome. I've been playing for a long time and can't figure out what things like "poor souls" are, nothing tells you. It would be nice to fully enjoy the features of this mod but despite all my searching, there seems to be no information repository that exists to inform oneself with.

I'm loving the beta so far, well done on all the content additions. Just want to point out that the file names for "QCDE_UT_Weapons_v3.0_Voxels_beta_1.pk3" and "QCDE_UT_Weapons_v3.0_Hires_beta_1.pk3" are swapped incorrectly.

The less-taxing headshots are a good idea, but I miss the satisfaction of the old ones (and the old sound). Please consider making legacy headshots a toggle option. Also, the ADS
"Press Once" option is bugged. Holding causes it to zoom in and instantly zoom out. For some reason, the imp head hitbox is less reliable in this version. Often times, headshots will not register.

Thank you to the one person who played this campaign and gave actually constructive criticism. Due to the fact that the majority of this criticism has just been people ******** on everything about it, I've withdrawn from making content for this community because it's clearly not worth it. I spent two months on Oxygen, the effort in the map geometry shows and yet I don't feel glad that I made it because all I've heard is how "bad" it is apparently is in every conceivable way. I would appreciate anybody still surfing these posts to not send me anymore messages asking for more content because I don't enjoy feeling like I've wasted my time making content for people who don't appreciate even the time it took for me to make it. Not enjoying the gameplay of the maps is fine, but unfairly treating my work as if it 'destroys the fabric of Half-Life' is a considerable demotivator. There are plenty of other projects I enjoy putting my time into, I never needed to make this: I just figured it would be appreciated. I was wrong.

I made Nightshade first Moddb.com and then Oxygen, I'll be leaving these listings up for anyone that still wants to download and play them but stop expecting more. I can't be ****** to bother.

Hey, so I know that probably no one is going to see this or have any advice. But I'd like to know if anyone has experience with the FOV bug I'm having in this mod. The default_fov "x" cvar doesn't actually work and I think it's a problem with a core AHL .dll file. I'm running the current version of steam's Half-Life to launch AHL from and I can change my FOV just fine in Half-Life and all other Goldsrc mods being ran off it. I'm sure this is just some sort of hardcoded incompatibility with resolution changes, possibly a write issue, that in any case there is no hope for support as this mod's hay day is long gone. I'd appreciate any help if anyone has it though, because I can't enjoy the mod in it's tunnel vision 4:3-tailored FOV.

Hi, I just checked out the 2013 build. While I couldn't get many inclusions functioning properly (as would be expected given the nature of the build) I think a development kit or source code release could see neat third party maps/projects based on what's already available that works well. While I understand if you wish to reserve the source for inclusion in your next chosen engine, some sort of sandbox extension to this mod could afford players a lot of fun regardless.

So bot_keepsettings manages how AI cvars (like botaccuracy and botfov) will control for each bot spawned. When bot_keepsettings is set to 1, you could for instance change said settings in-game and add a new bot that will uniquely match the new values. That new hypothetical bot will be stuck with these settings, but you could change the cvars again and add another bot with the newer unique settings. If bot_keepsettings is set to 0 on creation of a server, cvars like botaccuracy and botfov will affect all bots in the server uniformly. Hope this helps!

Hi, I'm glad you asked and are enjoying tinkering around with the bot cfg files. Johnny is the default bot and uses it's own control commands: "b_model [blank], b_name [blank], b_topcolor [blank], b_bottomcolor [blank]" My suggestion is to create your own cfg file in the mapcfgs folder and specify these parameters to create your desired character in his place for the map(s) of your choice. If you're interested in changing his parameters for all maps he'll appear in, seek out default.cfg in mapcfgs folder. If you have any more questions please feel free to ask.

Awesome mod, everything looks great, works fine with CoM. Quick question though, is anyone else having trouble with a specific model not registering hitboxes? It's a certain Loner model with a gasmask and green outfit, every time I run into an npc with that model, they're invincible because no amount of bullets or explosives can hurt it. Besides that, no issues here.

I haven't seen any anti-psi emitter from the Yanov scientists and I run jobs for them frequently. All they seem to sell are medical supplies and SSP gear.

I love this mod, the greatest stalker experience I've ever had. However, I've worked my way up to buying high end gear (such as the SSP suit) but find myself just as stuck as the beginning because of an instant kill on traveling to certain areas. From Jupiter to Pripyat my character dies before even loading in. From Zaton to Chernobyl, my character dies instantly because of "dangerous psi-emission levels" of a nearbye spawned psi mutant, killing me even while wearing an SSP suit and having popped anti-psi drugs just before entering the load zone. Is there no way to survive this?
