I also really love the new site. Really great.
I keep saying and i'm not gonna stop. This is only a taste of things to come. Once all the engines are linked, groups are made things will really start to work beautifully. Bear with us. There is a lot of great stuff on the horizon!
I like the purple theme. It's alright.
It's alright. There's still some hick ups and the flow is a bit problematic but like with anything new you have to adjust to it. If now we get the ability to make custom themes the world would be a brighter place :D
AHH where am I?
Definitely something to get used to, but that was every version. At least this version is one big overhaul. It'll be interesting how it goes.
Although I do wish there were dates on the comments. I'd like to know when they were posted myself. lol

comments have been removed, undecided yet on whether to add them back or not since many arguments and fighting seemed to stem from these comments
With per-mod forums, they're hardly needed any more.
i like it but some mods are missing..........

New moddb was changing but didnt imagine it'd look like this.
Although I preffered the more traditional look, I suppose this one will be more efficient with multiple systems.

Just by changing the logo from saying "GAYEM KOAR LULZ" to "ModDB", you've made me love it :D it is also growing on me like hair on an old man's ear.

I love it, it's so shiny and has that new website smell to it.
As of now, I'd rather it be the old moddb... I understand that it takes time to flesh out... I'm just impatient.
We're getting there as quickly as we can. With literally hundreds of engines and groups to add, it'll take some time. However, if you spot something missing then there's nothing to stop you adding it yourself :D
I really like the new options but I still miss some of the old ones from v3 like simply deleting files from downloads and so on.
Can't stand it. Mods are so hard to find comments and watches on now.

Hit the red "Themes" text to choose from 4 skins. Hopefully we get more or can make them ourselves. But in fact the choosing is present.
The Retro Thing is the one I use atm.

the news section really is confusing...at least that change wasn't needed. Why didn't you just change what's under the hood instead of fixing things that were perfectly alright?

I want my mod watch list back. It will be a pian to have to add all my games again.
Your modwatch list is fully intact, except it no longer just watches mods.
Everything you used to watch is still being watched by you, but you can't choose to stop watching it until something new comes along and we tell you about it. You'll also find you can now choose to 'watch' everything, including members and games, for new content.
Anything you have chosen to watch appears in your 'Updates' section. Basically, if nothing has appeared then nothing has happened.
So is there still somewhere that I can view all the mods and whatever that I am actually watching.
I also found that you don't have to wait for the thing to be updated to be able to stop wtching it. You just have to go to the page it is on and choose the option.

but it'll take some getting used to. i so much more prefer text-based sites, especially one like this because i care more for speed/fast info delivery vs flash. IE i liked the list of stats/info in a mod in simple text vs the broken up "windows" now.
i'm sure i'll get used to it though.
DUDES, its awsum and its got AJAX. This is going to take some getting used to.
The poll names are sort of blending in with the background, and it gets a little plain down the bottom of the page.
I think it'd be perfect if on the news page next to each item it still had the game icon for the game the mod is based on. I always found that extremely useful.

Hey! I was on here last night and it had a nice aqua-colored palette going on. I kinda liked it...but the red makes it feel more like ModDB. Good stuff!

I love it except everything is alittle too big, such as the boxes and tabs, making the look a bit overwhelming.

This new site is awesome! Really fresh and good looking!
First off when i saw a screeshot of V4 i though somewhat like "OMG how is that ever gonna replace v3??!?!" but now, I've been browsing this for like one hour, and i just LOVe it! It is really easy to get used to, and i love all the cusomization-possibilities that weren't there in v3!
Tbh v2 was the best and the easiest to navigate :P
Though this seems to be better than v3 on the first glimpse.
Theres no way to get version 2 back ^^ even if i would really like that
It's terrible, please go back. There was no reason to "update" it. Once again, please go back to version 3!!
I agree, it is Terrible! All the good things are either gone or impossible to find.
What are you missing? We're still getting things fine-tuned based on what you want to see.
