How many mods/games are you actively playing?

this poll kinda follows on from our last about how large your game collection is: Moddb.com

I mean sure you may have 250+ games but how many are you actively playing?

I voted 2-3, but that's not because I don't actively play a lot of what I have, it's because I only play a few at a time, then when I'm done go to something else, etc. Eventually I go back to the good ones. :) Hence most of my online time is Q2 & ET:QW. :D

For over 5 years I've been playing nothing but GTA (and some other exceptional games like Assassin's Creed / Battlefield etc.).

I picked number 1, there are hardly any mods that are

1.) Completed and playable.
2.) For a game that I have, am actively playing, and can actually run on my system.
3.) I have to want the mod, I do not just grab a random mod, I can not do so, I can only use 300MB of bandwidth per day. I get unlimited at 1am to 6am, but I can only stay up until 3am, so I am very picky about the mods and add-ons I download.

4+. I usually have 5-6 separate games that I'm into at any given time, cycling through my library. Popular favorites are all Valve games, a lot of RTSes, and Source mods.

uhm.... withouth counting the mod I'm develloping, then I hardly play any other mods... I prefer to just play one at a time. But the minute I get a new game I look it up here to see if it has cool mods.
So the number of mods I play is merely a relation to "what's on the market"

I actually liked the idea of announcing mod-sessions on Moddb and then playing together. Maybed Moddb could coperate with Xfire, so we can organise mod-event-weekends, where everyone interested from Moddb can participate.

Those release sessions with Moddb-staff, where you promote mods and invite us to join you are a good start, but I think if we organised better some cool mods would still be played more.

im playing like 20 mods :D

I usually play about 2-3 games. if i have time that is. for example, right now i've been playing Warhammer:DoW:Dark Crusade along with Red Alert 3 mod for Generals and Red Alert:A Path Beyond.

1. Simply because I don't have much time besides work, studies and the projects I'm on. So I tend to play something through taking my time and enjoy it and then look for something else ( or come back to Deus-Ex as did happen recently in preparation for TNM :D )

I originally thought this poll was just asking about mods. If I include retail games I am playing well over 20 games/mods. I spend way too much time gaming though ;)

I'm always trying new things. Currently playing Assassin's Creed and Zombie Panic Source. But I don't burn out from things like Starcraft or CS

This one was tricky for me. I play 4-5 mods regularly and try some here in there. I chose the second option cause even though I play 4-5, they are pretty much the only mods I play, and I'm not "Always trying new ones out".

i do both 2-3 and 4+, so i do 2+

I play on occassion.

I am always playing every new mod release and usually playing quiet a few mods.

I'm just playing one right now. Usually I'll be playing 2-3, sometimes more. It all depends on what's being released at what time.

Well I did have about 40 of my favs installed, but after my last reinstall decided to have just the handful (about 6) I actually play installed, and the two I mod for.

I play my games over and over again, so i mix between new and old, single player and multi player.

I'm usually playing a few games and/or mods actively and quite often try new stuff, so I chose 4+. However, I also have favorites I never get tired of.

I'm playing 4 new mods day by day....

I'm an addict to the mods...

Mount&Blade, Combat Arms, Cross Fire... Etc... etc...
I can't even play! Why? Because I can't make my decision! I swear! I suggest you guys stick on one game... Because it's realy... reaaaaaly hard to play when you got more than 3 favs!

i picked "2 - 3: I've got a few favs I always play" but i really dont play mods ne more i work on developing my own...

I play one until it can be played no more.

Then I play it again just in case.

command and conquer is the game i'm playing online over 5 years.

Since 2005, I played Halo's campaign & UT2k4 Deathmatch (against bots) on weekends so many times I lost count. Now I'm repeating it again with Halo 2 & UT3.

im always playing new or old stuff iv never played before but as always its SOF2 CS1.6 and newly COD 4 and WAW inbetween . takes sumthin special and origonal to grab my attention...lmao recently iv ben trying to play baldurs gate bbut getin nowhere
