My name is Matt Kazan, most of you know me as Maxx. I joined the No More Room in Hell team in 2004 shortly after the release of Half-Life 2. I saw the mod evolve over time and and I watched as it went through many different iterations and hardships (4554). In January 2009 InzaneFlea and I were given control of the project from its founder Coleman Sweeney, and from scratch our dedicated team undertook the task of seeing it through to finally making a public release.
We have all worked hard and we’re proud of what we’ve done. The amount of work everyone on the team has put in has not gone unnoticed and the efforts in all departments have truly paid off, but it isn’t finished yet. We hope that you will enjoy the game and give us your feedback to help us make it the best that we can. We’ve even created this handy email for submitting bug reports:

For new players it is recommended that you check out our NMRiH Wiki to read the Beginner’s Guide plus info on weapons and items and more. It will explain the basic gameplay mechanics and controls for NMRiH. It also includes tutorials for our custom entities in our FGD for those looking to create custom maps.
Getting Started
Just remember that this is NOT a final or finished product! NMRiH is still very much a work in progress. There are many planned features, maps and the Survival game mode which will be added in time. We are always looking for bugs and feedback on the game, visit our forums and let us know of your experiences while playing!
I’d like to give a big thanks and a shoutout to all of the people past and present who have committed their valuable time to No More Room in Hell over the years. We wouldn’t have gotten this far without all of your many contributions big and small! There have been dozens of people from all over the world who have contributed to NMRiH in many different ways and much of their work and influence can still be found in the game!
Special Thanks!
I’d also like to thank RawCG for providing our dedicated servers for testing during our long development, and for providing us with the first six Official NMRiH Dedicated servers for public use!

******* yes! I can't wait to play it! Great job guys, you successfully kept this mod going through thick and thin where many others would have given up. You've been through some tough times but hopefully, it'll all be worth it. I can't wait to see the server browsers full with games! Congratulations, really.
I would just like to say thanks to all the fans that have stuck with us through the years. This doesn't end here we still have big plans for the future!
This is very true, I couldn't agree more. :)
I'd like to thank the team for finally making my dream zombie survival game. Also the fans who support it because they are the life blood for the future of the mod which will be 1000 fold better than first release!
Bravo!, btw desura sucks, it wont let me dl it from there for some reason. so i guess i'm using something else. desura gives me a different error or some excuse every time i try to install
Can't wait to see what more you have to offer for this mod. :) Just don't go pulling off a Valve and making NMRiH 2.
Congrats on release!

download at 92%. house cuts off electricity.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Unfortunately all guns are really weak and the munition is rare and there are sooo many enemies.... Overall it's not really fun to play this game. Sorry, but it needs more work.
Zombie hitboxes seem to be wonky; we're looking into it
if i try to play online it sayes that my map differs AND I DON'T KNOW WHATS GOING ON!! PLESAE FIX IT =*(!! thank you
some netsettings should fix that, no? like rate, cl_updaterate etc
More like someone made the brain hitbox size wrong.
Wow, I waited years for this. Good work guys.
Yes!
congrats on the release, hope its really good
Well, well, well; a very special Halloween this year !
Karma rage in the house ! Oh lawdy...
experience so far :
Join game - It's too dark to see, try to find a flashlight button. End up hitting the punch key. The person I punched turns around and hits me until i'm dead (no HUD so I didn't even know I was low on health). I am then told I will have to wait until the match is over to respawn.
Quit server , join another one. Crash to desktop.
Boot game back up, join another server. Someone is hacking, standing around with god mode on letting zombies eat him. Nobody can spawn, we are forced to spectate this guy.
Quit server, join another one. Crash to desktop.
At that point I called it quits. Points for effort guys, I can see there's probably a fun mod somewhere in there, but it's buried under technical issues and unwelcoming design mechanics
I do have to point out here that at least for your first try, they did advise you to read the beginner's guide first which has the layout for controls?
this **** about crashes is true, i crash every 2 loadings approximately. The worst is that you have to wait until round restart, so sometimes you wait 20 mins only to get a stupid crash. I think it needs a lobby system of some sort, so you can wait until the server fills up, without having to restart (and crash)
So you don't look up what button is bound to flashlight and press a bunch of keys, accidentally punching ur team mate, causing him to kill you.
Next you join a server where a guy was "hacking" with God mode. Which was probably sv_cheats 1 followed by god mode/noclip, and you're complaining.
Aside from crashing, the devs aren't responsible for the idiots you play with.
The mod is simply amazing fun but I keep randomly crashing and left with hl2.exe is not responding. Is my PC the problem or the mod ?
It's the mod, I'm having a lot of random crashes as well, but never have problems with other Source mods.
Hopefully a fix is in the works
So far I cant even start the mod :( sometimes it starts with no sound, other times the sound is lagging, and everytime it crashes at 70% on the loading screen. gonnna elobarote a post in the bug report forums
Try this Nomoreroominhell.com should solve the mod crashing on start up
it crashes in the loading screen when trying to connect to a server, but thx, will try
FINALLY downloading this, thanks guys! :)
Great work so far guys! Looking forward to whatever comes next.
Downloading! I will try it out today and if I find any bug I will report. Guess this will be worth the wait hihihi.
Right when it starts it crashes with a refrenced memory error. Do I have to wait for the patch or..? :C. I updated video cards and everything, And Can run mostly all hl2 mods. Have sdk 2006 and 2007 and also all hl2 games. :C
Try this Nomoreroominhell.com if you crash at desktop, also if it doesn't could you make a post about it in the forums?
