Underhell Livestream, Beta - Saturday, October 27, 1600 hours (4 PM)
Posted by Mxthe on Oct 23rd, 2012
For the past couple of weeks, I have been doing sudden live streams with very short notice, and have received around 20-30 viewers, which was the perfect "testing environment" to make sure I knew how to handle the system.
I have learned a couple of great lessons through those testing sessions, such as always having a friend in the audience to warn me of any viewing issue, or of any important chat conversation happening, or even better, to have a second computer on the side viewing the Stream as well, to ensure everything is going smoothly.
So, after a couple of successful events, and a few ones a bit less successful, I believe we are now ready to schedule and play through an announced public live stream.
I have no idea what kind of traffic to expect, I just hope that Livestream.com does not restrict viewers on free accounts, we shall see.
Keep in mind folks, that this is a wild experiment, and as you may know, or not, Live events can always go wrong, so in case anything does go wrong, bear with us and be patient.
During the event, I will play through the entire Intro of Chapter One, and will make my way through one of the multiple outcomes, that will lead to one possible "starting point" for the game.
What will be shown at first will remain spoiler free, however, it is possible that I might get mildly excited and end up showing things I am not supposed to, if that were to happen, I will issue a warning either through the chat, or by showing a SPOILER ALERT image directly in the live stream.
The lucky ones who have already seen the live stream will recognize the playthrough, although they will notice some differences, since many dialogues/scenes/events are randomized at every new game, especially during the intro.
The Event will take place Saturday, October 27 at 1400 hours (2 PM)
(UTC-08:00) Pacific Time (US & Canada)
(Since Time Zones might differ, check the time on the Scheduled Event Page)
And finally, here are a few screenshots of what you can expect from the Live Stream.
