you can actually get it to show like that ingame with specular dds on the front of the Necron lord.
with an fx that glows on the object and reflects onto the specular Necron lord front. :)

Um i intended to add the staff along some other "improvements" like an upgrade to pimp your Necron Overlord up to a High Lord and even higher to become a Phaeron the ruler af an entire sector of the galaxy.

That entropy staff is only the beginning of a long chain bringing up some awesome necron improvements.

What i've planned so far:

Replace the Pariahs with Lychguard (The staff above was intended to be wielded by them first :3)

Replacing the Tomb Spyder with "Krypt-Spyders" which have the ability to disable the abilities of commanders beeing nearby via the "twilight-prism" passive aura.

The immortals receive tesla-carabines and i possibly give them the ability to upgrade into deathmarks. (AKA necron snipers :P, anyway i dunno if that's a good idea though but we need to keep the monolith build space in line thus i may ask you people about your opinion about my idea).

I don't care yet about Cryptechs lol >.<.

And the decision about the new Necron Vehicles is up to Cylarne but it seems to me that he swiftly changes his mind about them :D.

That'S what i got here.

There is always the second option of an auxillary monolith building that when completed makes the heavy monolith?

I was bored a while back and did up the code to allow for a second type of monolith building using the original monolith building just enlarged and faded texture a bit more.

Hence doubling the amount of units that could be produced.
Designed more for production of vehicle class units.

It wasn't that hard of a hex'n'tex, that I will revisit to see if I can make it any better. :)
And the builder scarabs have plenty of room :P

Thoughts?

See I got this hex'n'tex bug.
If you align it along the y axis and make the Entropy staff a whm with external textures I am sure it could be turned into an attachable weapons. IE daemon hammers. :P
I cant see why it couldn't be a fx upgrade for all the Necron lords?
I'm only a newbie at OE but I can see it working smoothly using mudflaps tools to make ebp then attaching the entropy staff in OE.

Combo fx is the way to do it. :)

illumniation much.
specular much

Description

I slightly reworked the staffs texture and added some light effects to it.
On top i've added some screenies showing a necron lord swinging that blade for the win.
