Version 1.72.7 patch was released for the Ultimate Apocalypse mod Grand Release version 1.7. REQUIRES NO OTHER PATCH! The patch fixes for one, a huge broken bug in version 1.72.5 involving a Tyranid multiplayer sync error, and fixes many balance changes along with the Dark Eldar ai FINALLY fixed with no crash to desktops to be encountered by them.

- To fix your Kaurava Campaign without crashing to desktop everytime you complete a stronghold mission, you must please export the movies from:
Engine/Movies
to:
UA Mod Campaign/Movies, simple as that.
- Daemons are restricted in the mod as of 1.72 and 1.72.7! They are getting a major revamp in version 1.73!
- This version fixes the deepstrike hotkey also (E to m). It will allow better access of deepstriking. To have this PROPERLY added ingame, please go to:
- DOW Directory/profiles/*user*/*mod*(ultimate_apocalypse)/keydefaults
- search for "deepstrike", and set the hotkey to "M", or any shortcut you want. Feel free to change up the hotkeys as you like.

This fixes up some of the bugs found in 1.72.5. It is a small patch, containing:
- Fixes the Tyranid multiplayer sync error, many balance changes, AND fixes the bugged Dark Eldar ai that was since broken in version 1.6 of the UA mod.
- Less crash to desktops, better performance, better balance, more bug fixes.
- New units! Many balance changes! Broken bug fixed that caused multiplayer sync error issues when Tyranids in game! Dark Eldar general ai and random crash to desktop fixed! Better performance.

This patch broke my saves and deleted all my Armies ... what the hell?
Was I supposed to install it to the Soulstorm folder or was it supposed to be to THQ?
Ugh, never mind! Disregard my above comment. Turned out when I opened up Soulstorm, my profile was set to some default one or something. Weird.

Hi, the game sometime crash! What can i do? It's normal?
Dunno why but my mod mysteriously removed the Space Marine Standard Bearer, Apothecary AND the Librarian! Then I decided to uninstall the whole UA and reinstall it again. This times I install the 1.71 and the 1.72.7, everything is fine until now AND the Chaos Daemon race mysteriously reappeared XD XD!
I actually like it ^.^ but I may want the team can tell me why it happen?
Also everyone who want the Chaos Daemon for now (before the release of v1.73) can do the same like me XD

Found a bunch of bugs for you guys, Ive been a lurking fan of this mod for ages and you didn't fix half of these bugs in this new update so I thought I had better speak up.
-Dreadnought right arm UV mapping is buggy, the texture loads up completely wrong.
-Game crashes when converting a Force Commander to a Chapter Master
-Game crashes when a Chaos Sorcerer Lord is created.
-Every survival map will crash with a fatal SCAR error once the Apocalypse begins, AKA after you kill the second boss, usually a small titan.
-Heirophant will change its scale repeatedly when doing different animations. Example: Walking around it will be undersized then suddenly grow to full size in combat.
- Reaver Titan will shrink massively when going from offline to online.
- Most Titans are scaled wrong.
- Strange buggy turrets spawn on the Kaurava Campaign: Space Marine Headquarters mission.
- Nearly All units for each race in the Kaurava campaign are textured wrong, untextured or using the wrong army scheme.
-UA: Campaign, Space Marine Scouts are stuck with a Blood Angels/ Blood Raven scheme no matter what scheme you choose.
Thats all Ive got for now, I'll keep looking for more. Nice work on the mod btw :D

hello to all the ua development team I am a long time fan of dow having played from the very first one, but have only just discovered your mod and I find it to be an excellent piece of work. I am impressed with the level of detail and quality of work which has brought new life to soulstorm I eagerly await more please please keep up the good work, thank you
Found a few more bugs.
- Nearly all Eldar units use the wrong colours in the Kaurava campaign.
- Some Ork units use the wrong colours in the Kaurava campaign.
I don't know about you but I am seeing a pattern here...
Might be a good idea to check all the colour scheme systems in the Kaurava campaign for all the races.

playing it and loving it for a while now! turned to campaign recently (after doing the steps you recommended to prevent crashes in the FAQ), and cleared the orks and SM while using tau. however, no matter what i do, game always crashes in the end of the IG stronghold. any idea why? can i correct it? thx, and great job!

I love this mod but the next set was 1.73 day is long to come, there is for how long? Because it is a very mod worked well but I find level and animated texture is deplorable XD

You need the base of "ULTIMATE APOCALYPSE". So, you need the 1.72.
After you'll can install this one.(1.72.7 and others)

nah, its no different, you just need 1.72 and its revamps then you're ready to go, (I.E 1.71 is not needed)

You can't play campaign because you need DaemonHunter mod, tyranid mod and Chaos daemon mod 0.96...
For exemple...me, i can not enjoy campaign with new race because i have not the CHAOS DAEMON mod...

just wondering, will the DE ever get re textured, not that it bothers me if they don't, but i notice guardsmen and marines have different skins from person to person, so i was thinking do you guys ever plan to redo the DE skins?

I'm a chinese player and I've found some bugs. Hope I can describe them distinctly.
These bugs focus on the way of calculating relic points in NEC.
1) In some big maps, the NEC has 50 points at the beginning and after completing all upgrades , the NEC has a amazing 200+ points. Is it normal?
2) When the main tower of the doomsday is desdroyed(it can be produced immediately ), 5 relic points will be returned back to the player...so you can produce one more doomsday titan!
3) the most disgusting bug. When you produce a titan or titan-like unic, if there is a unic, for example, the desdroyer, in the HQ, the titan unic will not appear in HQ even if it is produced completely. And....you will get all relic points returned back so you can produce titans in other HQs unlimitedly!
