I still don't quite understand what you mean by "Flashback" o.o
The Nod's SSM remind me somewhat of Z: Steel Soldiers a bit but I dunno why...
By "flashback" he meant these screenshots show the demise of the GDI through their eyes. To be more precise, the last hours of GDI presence in Africa and the hijacking of the Ion Cannon systems.
based on the 3 pics... seems like the telling of the last days of Tib Dawn's NOD campaign through the eyes of GDI.

Hmmm... well, if it were, then the Twisted Insurrection buildings would be out of place.
Personaly I'd speculate that the White House has been rebuilt (if TI is based on the White House ending) and that history is repeating itself in this mission.

It is way damn too good if this mod already have old Tib Dawn mission included for tribute to old cnc too. Just my wish :D
As a matter of fact, TI does have Tiberian Dawn building. They even were in the first beta release. :)
