This modification offers an alternative gameplay to Tiberian Wars involving many Tiberian Sun units which many CnC fans (like me) missing in vanilla CNC3 and add even new my made units which you can't find anywhere else. Story is quite the same like Tiberian Wars, but is all about what if GDI and Nod do not abandon technologies they have used in Tiberian Sun era and instead of that further developed them. But it's not only that, there are many visual, sound and balance changes which I want to see and hear in my mod, new sounds, new music, new effects (like blood and gore, new infantry deaths, new more realistic missile trails) and many more.
This package contains main mod files for Tiberium Essence v1.5 Beta and readme file with description and list of changes.

This release is to fix a lot of the bugs people have mentioned so it will still be Beta. Either way, this mod is simply amazing and it has surpassed anything I imagined!
I am playing as Nod in the campaign and I can use tactics I never dreamed of being possible in Cnc3. It makes the unmodded look so dull haha.
i tried doing the campaign as nod but having trouble as the invaders have arrived and gotta say its a lot harder i cant really find why but its annoying when your fighting scrin in campaign and they shove a mother ship at you but it makes it more of a challenge which i enjoy
While normally I would kill any Nod advocates with fire, I have to agree with you on this one. The GDI rape machine really needed it's crown's jewel, the Mammoth II. Banshees, meaningful artilleries and subterranean APCs brought back a lot of tactical opportunity, making Nod the VERSATILE faction it should actually be. Plus the scrins look like actual space invaders not a bunch of flying and crawling piles of poop. This mod is so cool it makes the original look downright dull.
Something tells me we still need to deal with many bugs I reckon...

well i8 have been running it through the campaigns and so far i havnt found a problem, if i wanted to be really pedantic i would say it just makes them more challenging
The campaign is easier with Nod so far.
Except on bonus objectives such as to capture mutant production building in GDI and NOD campaign. It is a great mod anyway.

I'm amazed with this mod. As if it is a commercial sequel of the CNC:TW! The quality and precision development of this mod is far more reaching than mostly of the mod available today.
It's more aimed to be the original community's (The ones who found out about C&C before C&C3 basicly) response to EA's failure to make an actual serious looking game, a worthy successor of Tiberian Sun.
Precisely 5 years after it's original game release and offered greater value with this mod on 2012. How you can say about that!?

Its been a year I havent looked back this mod progress since I graduated and now I'm far amazed. Being an adult and having a career, this game teaches me on how to manage well and make me a strategist.
I'm going to install the C&C3 just for this mod. Good work and keep it up.
First off, GOOD JOB. Best mod I ever, played. Seriously. THIS is how EA should have made the game in the first place! Not only are my favorite units back, (Devil's Tounge, Cyborg Commando, Light Infantry) but there's some really great new ideas, too. One of the other things that made this mod the best, besides tiberium being tiberium, and not cryptonite, is the music. Call me weird, but when I heard music like Airstrike, In the Line of Fire Remix, and Dusk Hour, it completed the game. Thanks for making the best mod yet! (And keep up the good work, I can't believe I'm playing a beta!)
I have had a lot more time to play TE Beta 1.51 now and I am seriously amazed. This is how the game was meant to be. I think both factions are more themselves now, with Nod ive been forced to sneak and use stealth and GDI are back to their more resilient forceful way of existence.
I am not sure if this was a one off or a bug. I was playing as Nod in the Amazon where I have to protect my Research lab but had to restart because all of the Tiberium fields would not regrow. Has anyone noticed this?

It would be great if NOD have such rival power to a gigantic machine, Mammoth Mk.II by GDI. Beast vs. Beast. For NOD faction, it can be a huge gigantic flying craft armed with anti-infantry,aircraft and lazer beam! Not forgetting, an ability to cloack the structures/units below it!
Nah, I think a Nod redeemer, a giant Reaper or Cabal would be more fitting.

I notice that whenever I move around the map too much the game crashes. I have the 1.9 patch for C&C 3 and this never happened to me with 1.4 version of the mod.
I've searched extensively and found that if you play on the lowest graphic settings this can happen with previous versions of the mod. Are there any plans for fix for this? I don't mean to whine, but this is definitely the best mod for C&C 3 out there and I'm just disappointed that I can't play it anymore.
I'd like a previous version of mod better than that.
This version need more balance (it's real, not my imho)

-Terraforming torpedo
-Clear sky
-Orca Rig
NOD need a powerful hero or two CyborgCommando at ones.

I hate to disappoint you, but GDI is actually the weakest faction... I roll over any GDI players whenever I'm online, because Nod has stealth (which is probably the most OP thing ever, if the enemy doesn't counter it), and Scrin has infinite money, which is so great...

Has anyone else noticed that when they select one upgrade for the Avatar, for exampple 'Purifier Cannon', that all of the other possible upgrades become greyed out?
Must be a bug since ive only paid for one upgrade and it seems to either do all of them or just the one only.
it's not a bug, you can only purchace one upgrade to the avatar for balancing reasons, or at least thats what carnius said in patch notes. i really did think you could have bought all 4 upgrades at first though lol
First of all, I want to thank you guys for a great modification. Personally, I liked orca bombers the most of all new models you guys put in. Talking about structures, walls were exactly what game was missing of, thought you should consider do something with it, because AI doesn't handle it well enough (you can use that as a glich).
Mode allmost complete the game in my view, except one thing. I don't know if this is possible but it would be really cool if it include some formation or at least speed options for units. Then you select a waypoint in a map, units just become messed up and it sucks very, very much! I mean all strategic games like this should include formation and speed options for selected moving units. Pointing each single unit is a stupid waste of time and it still won't let you organise an attack good enough compared to which you could perform with functions like these. This is a main drawback of all CNC series. Put these functions in a game, and it become two times better than it was.
