Tiberian Sun Rising is a total conversion for Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars! Tiberian Sun Rising brings back GDI and Nod battling it out during the Second Tiberium War, retelling Tiberian Sun as never before. This isn't just a remake of the hit title C&C Tiberian Sun. It is a mod making Tiberian Sun as it should have been originally so expecting lots of new fun and originality while sticking to the feel Tiberian Sun had. Taking the mindset that this is the first time Tiberian Sun is being made and using the original game as a design concept. This mod will also include the additions made in Firestorm so it is a remake of Tiberian Sun and Firestorm as one to what they should have been.New abilities and units will appear in Tiberian Sun Rising as well as new kind of gameplay altogether.

The sure do, but due the the armor plating you've gotta time your attack to when there attacking you. Or alternatively find another weakness in their armor to destroy them. *there is another ;).

I wonder if the forgotten will be able to use or at least to tame them, like they did in Tiberium Sun.

This one is cool, but... Fiends, following to the official description, are something like dogs or foxes, but not THIS...

Your forgetting this isnt a remake, and the Blue Tiberium fiend is a different evolution of the regular variety. The regular fiend's exposure to Blue Tiberium, early evolutions of this variety of Fiend were easily killed in chain reactions. However Tiberium Ecosystem adapts very quickly and wasn't long before Blue Fiends started growing a protective plate around the crystals, which also resulted in a much tougher/stronger armored hide then its cousin.

The regular Green Tiberium Fiend, wont be as devastating as the original in Tiberian Sun. They'll only be a large threat hunting in packs of 3 or 4. The Blue Fiend is closer to the original Tiberium Fiend in level of destructive power only.

This isn't the last new Tiberium Creature, given the variety we want in the Tiberium Ecosystem we will be populating the environment with a variety of old and new creatures.

New tiberium mutants... at last. It made me sad to see the mutants dissapear after Tiberian Sun... I guess they thought the Scrin were worthy "monster role" replacements. Tiberium Wars, while a really fun game, made tiberium more like a valuable mineral and less like a dangerous alien plant that was prone to consuming Earth with mutations and monsters. Veinholes, Floaters, Tiberium Plantlife, and the whole Tiberium making boat-use impossible and the air on Earth toxic thing for example... I wanted to see more of that concept. Like an alien apocalypse.

And I thought your green fiend was scary. This guy looks unstoppable!
I'd NEVER want to run into one of these, or anywhere near him.
Somehow I get the feeling that an assault rifle won't help much...

Awesome concept.

The fiends look absolutely incredible, my hat goes off to the skill, creativity and professional polish of the artist.

Quick question though: given the menacing look of the fiends and their high level of detail, will you be increasing their size on the battlefield? It would actually be kind of cool to see these things be as big as tanks, and it wouldn't exactly be difficult to justify given the mutation that Tiberium causes ;) .

Blue fiends will be larger, slower, and much stronger than the green ones.

AFAIK, the green ones will be small and fast, like dogs, while the blue ones will be large and strong, like bears or something.

Hey folks, I'm the artist that drew up this beasty. It really was fun putting him together and I think will have quite a 'oh crap!' factor when he appears in game.

Description

Behold the Blue Tiberium Fiend, or otherwise known by experts the Vinifera Fiend. Those few Green Tiberium Fiends who have been spending more and more time around Blue Tiberium fields have undergone a evolution/transformation. The Blue Tiberium growing off their back presents a vulnerability given its unstable nature and known habit of exploding when fired upon. The Blue Tiberium Fiend has developed an ingenious defense mechanism for this weakness a retractable Armor plate. Which ready to fire retracts the Fiend launchs explosive tiberium crystal shards at its targets dealing heavy damage. To help it better survive Chain Reactions of Blue Tiberium fields, the Fiend's entire body has developed a thick layer of armor. Making it much stronger then its Green cousin and larger in size as well but slower moving as a result of the armor.
