I'm trying to make sense of the Rusted Metal... Is it a MK2?
It's the MKII wreck-prop that already was in CnC3.
You have your own MKII, right? If yes, you should create your own wreck model to match the buildable model.
I do, however, I plan to give GDI something a tad more epic than the MKII. No, I won't say what, it'll be a surprise.

The veins look like branches (like they did in TS :P), but if you are going to edit this to make this looking more like TIBERIUM Veins i'll praise you as the god of modding^^
Btw 3 Questions:
Are you planning to make the veins damaging vehicles and infantry and are you going to make them as a resource like in TS ?
And final Question: Are you going to make an epic/super unit for Nod ?

Alsho Tiberium Veins do not harm Infantry unless you shot them then the Chemicals clouds Came out.
Well a Cyborg Commando would be kinda nice and of course youre right with the Tiberium Veins :-)
But still GDI´s Epic Unit is a BIT better then the Nod Cyborg Commando.
By the way: Maybe GDI gets the Ghost Stalker like in TS Oo

Thats true... The Cyborg Command is quite cheap (compared to Mammoth MkII) but an epic Tank (just don't think of the Redeemer, this Unit wasn't epic) would be very nice in Kanes arsenal.
I pit the MKII against the Cyborg Commando 1v1 on several occasions.
Straight Forward run at eachother combat - MKII wins 4/4.
Cyborg Commando from behind - Cyborg Commando wins 3/4.
Cliff battle (Cyborn Commando up on a cliff shooting down at my MKII) - Cyborg Commando wins 2/4 fights.
I tried next with veterancies, a full blown Epic MKII will wipe the floor with the Cyborg Commando.
Keep in mind the Cyborg Commando costs.. Less than half the MKII cost? And its an Infantry unit, so its suggested you add some sort of support unit while its up "tanking" everything, so you could have artillery, banshees, or even rocket troops to back it up.
The Mammoth MK:III was the treded design in Normal CNC3. So a Mammoth MK:4 with Quad rail cannons, double mounted chin cannons, and quad rail guns!
