Tiberian Apocalypse is a Partial Conversion for Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars with the goal to create a true Tiberian Sun sequel. GDI, Nod and the Scrin are getting a complete overhaul.

It just keeps adapting more and more of a TS look, and that's just through the use of tiberium. And I thought there'd be no way to capture that kind of nostalgia with a game so relatively new.

Simple: It didn't look like Tiberium.
Exactly as I suspected, the ground is as beautiful as seen in renegade.
