Amazing effects, it looks a lot better than the Vanilla Ion Cannon blast thats for sure.

Just one small gripe with it, though: it still looks rather 2D, the blue explosion, that is.
the distortion effect doesnt help but i imagine it looks 10 times better ingame

I've been doing some experimentation, right now, the blue Shockwave is emitted exactly as long as the beam is visible, so it looks as if the Plasma from the beam would spread all over the damage area.
