Tiberian Apocalypse is a Partial Conversion for Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars with the goal to create a true Tiberian Sun sequel. GDI, Nod and the Scrin are getting a complete overhaul.
That got to be the most beautiful Obelisk of Light I have ever seen in a mod of Tiberium Wars. Tiberian Sun FTW! Keep up the good work. Looking forward to use this one.
Don't really like how the "tip" of the Obelisk is like- how it's curved and held like that. CnC Reborn did the tip similarly, just without the curve, and it looks much better. Fix that, and it'd be perfect :)
Awesome model exept the upper part you know the part that's firing the laser i think it should be facing abit to the front it looks like it's going to break
After seeing the stealth generator modal then seeing how beautiful the stealth generator is in texture makes me can't wait to see the obelisk in textures! :D
I think the concept is great overall, but focusing lens (the "crystal" on top) looks somewhat... strange. I mean I can't picture a stream of light going into the lens inside Obelisk. The lens looks like being attached to main structure.
Don't really know what to suggest that will be both constructive and not requiring serious changes to model...
What about segmented "tail" with the lens being installed asymmetrically in topmost segment? This way "tail" can still have same curve, but the lens will have to be inclined further.
A suggestion regarding capacitors: maybe it's worth making a sturdier casing for them? Obelisk, being a base defence structure, has high chances of being fired upon at some point.
And a thought about their shape: current definitely looks proper for it's purpose, but something triangular-ish and more closely attached to "legs" may be worth considering (it would add to the Nod's omnipresent scorpion theme I think).
Really didn't like your mod originaly as TE had better models and textures. But a few weeks back when i saw your newer stuff ive really been impressed. That obelisk is frigging to die for. I love how its got that Tiberian Sun design to it, but at the same time it's got a newer look to it.
camo pillboxes that can be built by infantry well basically the foxholes the gdi have now but instead of sandbags make it built up earth. but the obelisk rocks except for the weird hinge thing on the crystal. unless thats so it can tilt forward to get a better shot on closer targets
It's very nice model, I'm impressed like many other here too :D but I think the tip should be a bit differently there, instead of pointing in the sky. Something like this Gaming.fi
the Obelisk looks good but i think the C&C3 Obelisk is the better model and also i think the laser diamond isn't in the right position, i think its supposed to be further forward.
Can be upgraded with turbo-capacitors for higher ROF. (Turquoise)
Awesome model :)
IMPRESSIVE :)

Beautiful ! But there something here I don't really like... Oh well.

On the back view, there are two spots for upgrades. Dose the TC take up both, or is there a second option?
And the tip looks like an artillery shell...
It uses both upgrade slots
And I was thinking the same thing while unwrapping it.
Imma firin mah artillery shell lazor! :P

This is the best looking obelisk I've seen. Good work :)

And I think it's where it's supposed to be, as neither the S-Gen nor the Obi are supposed to be blatant copies of the TS counterparts.
Are you guys thinking of making this a bunker too?
Nope, I'm not.
