About two years and one half were needed to make this mod possible. It modifies and improves greatly every aspect of Stalker: Clear Sky, excepted the main storyline and side quests which remain unchanged. See the full changelog for more information.
DON'T INSTALL THE NEW 2_0 VERSION OVER AN ALREADY EXISTING OLDER VERSION OF THE MOD! Before installing, make sure to REMOVE any gamedata folder located within your Clear Sky directory. This is part II, required in order to install and play the mod.
waz up! looks good
finally :D
Good Good Good Good Good
Please make sure to extract PartII in your Clear Sky directory, exactly like PartI.
Sometimes, people tend to extract PartII within the "gamedata" folder prviously created when extracting PartI... Which results in wrong install and crash on start.
To make sure that the mod is installed properly, go in your Clear Sky directory, and then open your "gamedata" folder. IF you find one another "gamedata" subfolder in there, it means that you've installed the mod the wrong way.
can I just extract the part 1 and 2 at once to create only one folder?
Sure you can. Just do it right.
Do we still have to do the hole false = true thing???
Yes, you need to open the fsgame.ltx file and set: $game_data$ to: = true

very buggy. crashes alot
Another one who tried to merge files from some other mods with this one (which is clearly NOT recommanded) and failed miserably.
I can play hours and hours using my mod without encountering a single crash or issue. I know that at certain stages, the game may indeed turn unstable, but pure gamebreaking issues are very rare.
Bah, anyway, recently I've watched some videos made by people using this mod. That was a disaster. Unfortunately, many people here simply don't know how to play this game. They get lost in the Swamps easily, don't know the name of many locations, can't make a difference between a *grenade* and a *grenade launcher*, can't use medkits and bandages in a clever way, can't use their inventory properly, can't be bothered to run when a NPC throws a grenade at them, can't understand the very basis of the faction war, can't do ANYTHING but shot and die without even knowing what's going on.
No wonder why everyone enjoys COP better than Clear Sky, lately...
I'll just add two things I've indeed forgot to put in the yet already helpful readme:
1/ It is clearly NOT recommanded to merge any files from any mod with this one. Even sounds, even textures.
2/ For those who experience repeated crashes at the beginning, when creating a new game, there's one solution: simply lower your screen resolution to 1024x768. The said crashes will become much, much more rare. You can get back to your original one once you're actually into the game.
Note however that Clear Sky was unfortunately not really made for real high screen resolutions (basically anything above 1024x768). Not my fault.
EDIT: a fix for scopes on 1920x1080 monitors is on the way and will be released shortly.
game works fine but for me something is wrong with all the menus. It's hard to explain but the in game inventory and sound and graphics menus are all sort of jumbled up and I can't see anything properly. tried it on pretty much all resolutions.
Go in the "images" section, from this very page. The first pic explains what that bug is and how to get rid of it.
lol... wow i feel like a retard now... works perfect, awesome mod..
TO ANYONE HAVING STABILITY ISSUES: as a mean to have less crashes ingame, go in gamedata\configs and remove the whole "environment" subfolder and then go in gamedata\textures and remove the "sky" subfolder.
This will remove the high-res skies that demand so much memory.
I have installed The Warmongers 2_0 PartII, but I am not sure I did it correctly.
How do I tell if Im playing the mod or just playing the orginal CS?
That's pretty simple, the loading screens are totally new. Plus you can only choose one difficulty ("Warmonger") when starting a new game.
On a side note, the next version will be in only one part.
-I have ver 1.5.10 in my bottom right of the screen.
-I have extracted the gamedatafolder to: Steam\steamapps\common\STALKER clear sky
and I changed the false to true in the fsgame file.
However...
-I do get the Warmonger loading screen.
-But I can actually choose from easy to master in difficuly when starting a new game?
Is it okay or???
No, it isn't. You must reinstall the game in English. This is the only language this mod supports.
Normally, you shouldn't even be able to actually start a new game on "Easy" because even if the translation still appears, the button itself has been disabled (and it clearly states "Disabled" on English version of the game with this mod installed).

You keep saying that you've extracted *PartII*... So I ask, have you extracted PartI as well? PartII mostly contains textures and sounds, including the new loading screens. But the core of the mod is in PartI, eh :p
Hehe... I thought PartII was "new version" ;-)
However, I have installed partI and no problem in starting the game, but is craches with the info: Xray engie crash
I think it has something to do with the xrCore.dll, but Im not sure. Can this be fixed?
Great work!
Are you planning on using fixes from newly released Sky Reclamation Project v1.0.3 in your future release?
Yes, few ones...
