PEOPLE!!!! I think I have discovered your problem!!!
The reason why the mod may be crashing when trying to turn it on is because the game language is not set to Russian.
Since there is no support on English just navigate to the settings and switch the Dialogue option from english (or other language) to Russian.
It worked for me, thank you very much.
I have a similar problem to what was mentioned earlier. My game crashes soon after it starts, I have the patch installed btw
When you tested the mod, in wich version of the game was it tested on?
Steam?
Phisical copy?

I tried installing The Guide Mod [Rus] to the Steam version of Metro 2033 and didn't get the screen you have on the images. Does this have something to do with the regional publisher of the game being different? (Akella for Russia and THQ for the rest of the world)

Если лицензия - то Стимовская.
У меня стимовская, но всё ровно не работает. Что с фиксом, что без всё ровно вылетает.
