Dawn of the Tiberium Age (DTA) is a stand-alone mod that combines Tiberian Dawn (C&C 95) and Red Alert. While classic mode gets as close to the original game-play and balance as possible, Enhanced mode provides improved game balance and a lot of fun new stuff. DTA features many customization options for Skirmish and multiplayer (where you can play as GDI, Nod, Allies and Soviet on over 200 maps), challenging original singleplayer missions, as well as co-op missions. Since this is a stand-alone mod, you don't require anything but the mod itself to be able to play: the original game is not required.
A new multiplayer map by drive to be included with DTA version 1.16.
Somehow reminds me of Powder Keg map from RA2
If all of those Factories are actually usable, I can't imagine why anybody wouldn't just rush to capture them.
Im going to assume they are classed as ruins. although it looks like they are behind a ridge/wall so will be accessible only from air.
They're not ruins, but they also aren't capturable. I assume they're supposed to represent aircraft hangars.
this has a weird feeling of being both gigantic and confined :d i love it already
If I play this map, will my computer die?
No, but due to the extreme number of buildings it is heavier than most other DTA maps, so old PCs might not be able to run the map smoothly at high game speeds.
are those aircraft new? I don't recognize them
The aircraft have existed for quite a while already, but they're unbuildable and I'm not sure if any maps have made use of them until now.
Question: Can we have some GTA-style warfare please?
You know, with stealable cars armed with MGs, Firetrucks using killer Waterpumps (or flamethrowers like that one GTA2 mission) :)
