The Ball is an indie singleplay action/puzzle game, running on Unreal Engine 3, for PC. The expected release date is spring 2010. The project started out as a mod for UT3, but has recently gone stand alone.

The Ball offers an adventure that puts you in the boots of an explorer who gets stuck in a cavern and bumps onto ancient Meso-American tombs. While making your way through the internal workings of ancient ziggurats, golden cities, and huge caverns, your only companion is a mysterious big gold and metal-shelled ball.
Innovative physics driven gameplay. Roll the ball around to solve puzzles, overcome obstacles, and crush enemies with. All from a first person perspective. Explore a world rich in atmosphere and history.

No you only need this latest version. It includes the previous releases, and they have been improved considerably even.
For some reason, I'm tiny when I play. I'm shorter than I should be and everything seems massive.
You do know that the ball is pretty large, don't you? lol
Just finished Teotl. This is amaizing! The new "gravity gun" rocks! Very pozitiv fellings after all :) Btw,for me was 1 hard place-rails in the end.
This mod has gotten so much better since the first release.
I played Teotl from the beginning to the end in a little less than 2,5 hours. xD +additional 30mins of survival.
This is a HUGE mod, really long playtime and I must say I felt it exciting all the time, and couldn't stop.
It often been a satisfying feeling to solve yet another puzzle with a little bit of thinking and looking. Some are not easy but also not TOO difficult.

i happened to notice in the first part of teotl, in the first room where you encounter the low gravity, there is the image of the flower of life on the wall..... do you know what that is, or did you just happen to find the graphic somewhere and thought it looked cool? (it's also visible in several other locations including the one visible up high on the wall in the background in this screenshot: Moddb.com)
I know what it is and it is there intentionally. And there are two other types that were derived from it as well. Nice that someone notices :)
that symbol is pretty much what i live by. have you read "The Ancient Secret of the Flower of Life?" that book is how i found out about it.
Nop I haven't read it, but I am well aware of the theories and the myths surrounding that and other things. The story we have ties into that, and has references to it albeit it never outright says so. It is more of a personal choice whether or not you want to see that in the story, or look at it as something else. It is left open.
