Tactical Fleet Simulator third generation (TFS 3G) is a complex, total overhaul of Homeworld2 with the objective of transforming the game into a tactics-oriented combat simulator. Recurring themes are quasi-modern (circa 20th century) air and naval doctrines modified for three-dimensional movement, complete with a proper unit classification scheme. Grand strategy plays a significant role, with the emphasize on battlefield adaptability, simulated by the large amount of available assets with similar albeit different roles.

just a question. what is the use of stabilizers in space? Also aren't the Hiigaran ones a little more worked out than the Vaygr? lol is the texture creator imparcial?

dont take it personal please, just constructive criticism.
other than that, awesome work!!!!!!!!

Gotrol, I did not make the missiles, I merely provided a basic outline for how I would like them to look. The textures used are from the original Fusion Missile and Hiigaran Torpedo, we did not create new textures for the missiles. We concluded that the missiles are not noticeable enough in flight to spend the extra time and effort on creating new textures and adding more details to the models. The stabilizer fins allow the missiles to be used in both an atmosphere and in space, in conjunction with three-dimensional thrust vectoring nozzles.

Point taken and the fancy explanation as well.

I have been playing TFS since 2.4.3 and never had a chance to say thank you for making this. Well- thank you.

We opted to make a new Vaygr SRM with a more detailed texture and fins that make it look more distinct from the MRM and LRM.

Description

This shows the strikecraft missile package for TFS v2.6. The largest missiles are the Long-Range Missiles (LRM), the medium-sized ones are Medium-Range Missiles (MRM) and the small variants are the Short-Range Missiles (SRM). The Vaygr SRM model has been updated after this screenshot was taken and is now more detailed.
