Prolouge of the Earth at war storyline:
Hello, I’m
Megavin, one of the chosen keyblade warriors. I was born on the planet Bespin
and lived there for five years, when I was discovered by the keyblade wielder
council I moved to their home planet called Carida where I followed training to
become one of the keyblade masters; those where elite keyblade warriors whose
goal was to protect the galaxy from feared dark creatures known as ‘the
Heartless’ led by a warrior of darkness whose name was ‘Ansem’. However when I
was twelve Carida was attacked and destroyed by the Heartless and I knew to
escape with a handful of other keyblade warriors: Sora, Sam, Justin and Dave.
Together we fled to the Kamino system and we established a small militia there
called the ‘Galactica
Republic’ and with that
army we fought and defeated the Dark Empire which is another feared faction in
the universe. Another two years later the Galaxy was in peace and the United
Galactic Federation was formed, led by us, the elite keyblade warrior council.
When I was fourteen years old we declared war with the heartless and we fought
two massive wars against them. During those wars we also reformed the Keyblade
order and we had a army of keyblade warriors who fought alongside us in the so called
‘Heartless Wars’. The war ended one year later and we disbanded the U.G.F. and
the members of the Elite council where shattered and fled to several small
outer rim worlds, I fled to a small temperate planet called Earth located in
the Sun system and I lived there for twenty years with the name ‘Melvin
Winthagen’ but then something happened; Russia has established a colony on the
planet Coruscant and the UN Declares war with Russians calling themselves the
‘Intergalactic empire’ and I joined the Earth alliance, the army formed by the
UN to take arms against the Intergalactic Empire. However we also encountered a
third faction in the galaxy: The feared Black hole pirates, accompanied by the
Heartless! But they weren’t led by Ansem. They where led by the Lord of
Darkness; the true leader of Darkness, killing him will make the Heartless
disappear for good, so I realised that this was the very beginning of the end
of my war with the Heartless.

During my absence I thought of a few ideas for the mod. The first one is a full redone weapon system:
In the demo I coded the weapons to fire 100 blasts in a volley, reload 5 seconds, fire another volley, etc. In future versions I will balance it more ressembling the actual arms of a unit. i.e. If a units posseses 50 Turbolasers batteries and they're capable to fire 3 pulses in a volley that makes 150 blasts. Thats means that we'll do 3 hardpoints firing 50, 15 firing 10, 50 firing 3, etc, ect. Also, shields will be MUCH harder to take down. They can asorb a lot of damage but regenerate slowly, Ion canons are now, as they're supposed to be, the ultimate way to knock down the enemy shields. We'll also make more realistic weapon to shield particles. In phase 1 the Earth Alliance has the advantage of boasting shield penetrating weapons.
Another idea is having stations buildable from build satalites (in skirmish) Those will be:
- Drydock (Builds and repairs additional units without putting them on the production queue, which is possible)
- Advanced station (Builds elite units)
- Merchant station (Builds outdated (From previous phases) units (From all factions) and unis from the minor factions, which are: UGF Remnant, United Galactic Federation of planets, Alliance of Civilasations and the Mayan Empire)
- Tactical station (Heavily armed, deploys several units)
- Research station (Provides upgrades, including evoloves to the next phase)

I see you've done quite a bit of modelling in google sketchup, have you managed to get any of those into game yet as would be good to see some of the new ships you've made in game.
Not yet, the first need to be skinned, rigged, animated (Death clones, moving parts etc.) and converted. I'll first do my part along with my modellers: Making the models for the mod so we've done our part. Then we'll start skinning and stuff :)
that is the problem nowadays, i struggle to get my models (they are skinned) in game because there are no riggers around. BEst of luck for you finding one because I am outta luck
We have a rigger in the team but he's quite inactive, I fear I have to learn the rigging and scripting myself...

Well, I know that homosexual people can be 'women-ish' but I'm bi, I know how to behave myself :P
now, i may not agree with your, um, attraction choices, but i do agree with you, people should not hate on you just cuz of your decision. i am sure that these very same people are hurting from stupid decisions that they made (i am not saying your decision is stupid) and they want to make themselves feel better by calling other people up on there personal decisions, or how they may just be wired. it doesn't matter what they say, and also, before letting it get to you, think about how they may be hurting, and they may just be trying to make themselves feel better, just in the wrong way. now, there are those Jack***** out there who just like to bug people, doesn't even really matter who. i am a Christian, and i get bothered about it just because i made a personal decision that i think is the right one for me. you made a decision (being bi) and you think it is a good decision for you. we both deal with some of the same issues, just for different reasons. once again, just cuz i am a christian doesn't mean i hate you and i think you are going to hell or anything, and i am not saying that you need to convert to my faith in order to be saved. but what i am saying is that you made a decision, just like me, and we may get harassed for it, but always remember to be strong.

this might be none of my business but i sorta know what you mean.im a furry,but everyones always ripping on us because of a few peoples personal interests in it.no matter what they say you cant let them get to you.if they cant at least accept your decision to be bi or my decision to be a furry,then thats their problem.
i anticipate this mod with alot of excitement,but personal stuff comes first.the best stuff comes from a mind at peace,take all the time you need.=)
