Introduction
Yesteryears is a mod that takes us back to the last years of the 23rd century and evolves around what has been happening since Star Trek 6: The Undiscovered Country and the new founded fragile peace that has covered the quadrant since the Kithomer Conference.
The storyline involves the fragile peace that has been achieved between the Federation and Klingon Empire, the Romulan Star Empire struggling to come to terms with the power shift that has occurred in the quadrants, the first contact with the Cardassian Union plus much more.
Features
Yesteryears includes a number of new features, some being never before done in a mod for Armada. Some of these features are:
- New weapon graphics that are more like what was seen in on the screen.
- All completely new models made by the team for the mod.
- All new resource system with more canon resources.
- A new research system.
- New races that have not been done before.
- A completely different style of play, no longer do battleships mean victory.
- Designed from the ground up to be playable by anyone who can play the stock game Star Trek Armada II game.
- All new designed player interfaces to give a feel of TMP era plus much more.
Races
Yesteryears includes 6 playable races in multiplayer and they all appear in the campaign. Also included are 2 map races that will feature in the campaign and several multiplayer maps.
