I am First Omet'iklan, and I am dead. As of this moment, we are all dead. We go into battle to reclaim our lives. This we do gladly, for we are Jem'Hadar. Remember . . . Victory is life.

I don't understand why you keep posting screens of old and known ingame content. The model nor textures seem to be any different than before at least for the blank human eye without a comparison shot.

But still don't get me wrong I as well as all the other viewers here appreciate new screenshots and content of any sorts so good work never the less.

I think the images using 'old and known ingame content' are meant more as artwork, made for peoples' enjoyment, than they are for anything else...

Since The Final Frontier will be our last major release, we also wanted to go over where we've been over the years. A vast majority our models have been produced in house, specifically for Armada III. It's nice to be reminded of that when you look over the ships, not to mention recalling the rich diversity of Trek lore.

Also new planet types/gravity wells/nebulas/stars/skyboxes will often be portrayed alongside our 'old and known content'. ;)

I, with the aid of two of our pre-existing beta-testers, are putting together a collection of arty screenshots of each of our main faction ships as our own 'Ships of the Line' series. It's just a bit of fun and our own way of paying homage to the great artwork that has set this mod apart, and remembering how far this mod has come. It's also something nice to do for our supporters.

Also, new content isn't being ignored. Check a few pictures back and you'll see we've covered the Hirogen and the Idryll quite recently, with more to come.

Well, I am enjoying the screenshots especially in anticipation of the release. Whether it's older content or newer it's still nice to see daily or weekly posts as opposed to long periods of nothing at all. And the screenshots are beautiful. Thanks for the hard work.

;-)

Ok @devs that makes perfect sense and thanks for answering my inquiry. Looking forward to "the final frontier".

Description

The vessel designated the 'Scarab' by Starfleet is the Dominion's primary attack ship. Fast, agile and heavily armed, the scorched wreckage of uncounted enemies of the Dominion bear testament to how the Scarab excels in this role.

Much like the Jem'Hadar themselves, the Scarab is produced in vast quantities, exemplifying the Dominion's military ethos favouring overwhelming force and almost limitless numbers. It is a strange irony that the terrifying might of the Dominion should be so perfectly expressed by such a small craft.
