Description

The Hutet dreadnought represents the pinnacle of Cardassian warship design. Several magnitudes larger than even the largest Cardassian battleship, the Hutet is no mere warship - it is a mobile fortress, capable of holding the line against any and all enemies of the Cardassian people.

Launched at the height of the Dominion War, the Hutet has already made an impact, stalling Federation and Klingon counterattacks into Cardassian-held space. Bristling with Cardassian phaser emitters and photon torpedo launchers and able to lay down heavy firepower in all directions, the Hutet serves as the immovable centre of the Cardassian fleet, a constant and unflinching reminder of Cardassian supremacy to friend and foe alike.

The Hutet carries a compliment of unmanned defence turrets it can deploy to support itself in heavy combat, and carries a pair of experimentally modified, computer-controlled Norin-class cruisers, specially equipped to support the Hutet in battle and repair the dreadnought should the need arise. These ensure that, even when alone, whole wings of enemy ships are wary when approaching the Hutet.
