Description

The Roantha destroyer serves as a command and support ship for the Son'a Command. Smaller and faster than the Jalak-Su, the Roantha shares its larger brother's penchant for heavy firepower. As the Son'a must make up in quality what they lack in quantity, the Roantha is bristling with exotic weaponry, including the characteristic isolytic subspace torpedoes carried by the Son'a in flagrant disregard for interstellar law.

As a command ship the Roantha is typically commanded by the most cunning Son'a officers. As such, it must not be underestimated. With the Son'a giving provisional support to the Dominion, as well as becoming the chief manufacturers of the narcotic Ketracel White, on which the Jem'Hadar are dependent, the Son'a's place as a rogue state in the Alpha Quadrant is secured.
