lol - I made the same mistake at one point. After Max updated the Buzzard I took a close look at all the Romulan models and I swear I saw a bunch of stuff I'd never noticed before. I remember thinking, 'Damn, Max has been busy!'

Description

The Harrier-class warbird was initially designed in the early 2350s as an assault-oriented troop transport capable of independently launching and supporting planetary invasions, effectively taking over the role primarily served by the older Vengeance-class. Its heavy firepower and sturdy build emphasise its original intended role. Romulan admirals, however, saw the potential of the Harrier as a front-line heavy support battleship, and so the Harrier was revised and took on the role of a fleet support capital ship, carrying a myriad of conventional and exotic weapons to ensure Romulan dominance in battle.

With the onset of the Dominion threat, and especially after the disastrous Battle of the Omarian Nebula, the Harrier's role has been revised once more, this time bringing it closer to its original purpose. Its enormous holds, once intended to carry troops, have been modified and expanded into hangars capable of carrying vast numbers of the Empire's new, state-of-the-art strike craft. Launching its deadly flock to swoop and claw at the enemy, the Harrier has already proven to be one of the most effective carriers in the Alpha and Beta Quadrants.

Its role as a carrier has in no way hampered the Harrier's abilities as a combat craft. Freed from the limitations inherent to a support role, the Harrier engages the enemy as a true warbird should - utilising its mass, firepower and heavy shielding to overwhelm the enemy through brute force. When the Romulans truly commit to battle, the results for their enemies are terrifying.

Aided by its flock of strike craft, the Harrier has finally taken its place as one of the deadliest and most versatile warbirds in the Romulan fleet.
