Even my rig couldn't handle such DOF included to this mod. No, this is just image manipulation.

No vanilla suit upgrades are removed.
These are tradable items that can be attached/removed as you wish and whenever you wish.
Surge suppressor protects agains electricity.
Body cooler protects agains fire/burn.

ExoMonolith6 May 29 2012 replied:

if icould make suggestion couldn't the body cooler also increase your over all energy recovery also due to i keeping you cooler while you run cause the seva suit has an upgrade that puts a cooling thing in backpack thing in vanilla game

Perhaps balance that out by making it weigh a couple of kilos?

siftheadz Aug 29 2012 replied:

I'm sorry, I didn't get that...

Did you mean that there won't be the original suit upgrades?
If so, you might need to balance that out by boosting the initial stats.
Or you could keep the upgrades but decrease the original stats.
Whatever can't wait for v2!

IcyToasters May 28 2012 replied:

Body cooler probably raises resistance to heat anomalies, and surge suppressor for electric anomalies! (:

EDIT: beat me to the reply! I had looked away.

Will you still include a rare titanium lightweight version of the armor plating ? Figured it would go good along with the other rare loot and weapons you find in Misery.

"Camelbak" is a copyrighted name. Aren't you worried about getting into legal trouble because of it?

Dragonlord May 28 2012 replied:

I doubt they get in trouble because of using that. They don't make a profit with it. And if worse comes to worse rename it to "Camelpack" and all is good :P

Looks awesome, but I wonder: Is this armory attachment system going to be dynamic? I mean that in the sense of seeing greater variation of other stalkers utilizing it in the same way, changing attachments changes appearance etc?

No. They are meant as 'one of' items appearing some logic places for the player to choose from.

A great start to modifying armor. I can't wait to see more like this for both armor and weapons. If more mods had content like this, people would pay for them instead of shiny new games.

I am guessing that the Bubble artifact and its variants don't emit radiation and remove it like in Vanilla. (Jellyfish, Bubble,Wrenched. Cause it will seem unbalanced if they no longer serve their original purpose. 'Lore' demands that these artifacts remain the same! (only those 3?) :P

Kind of curious, I think it'd be beneficial to the mod if drawbacks were apparent. I'm thinking about the possibility of the Body Cooler and Surge Supressor (because they use electricity (also, finally a use for batteries!) to possibly attract mutants, and to weigh quite a bit?

trojanuch Jul 19 2012 replied:

From your list the only viable thing atm is extra weight. However as you'll soon see - due to the overhaul which weight system has underwent (basically it's a 'linear' system now in which every kg continously adds to the stamina depletion rate) - extra burden of attachements is quite a significant disadvantage (especially when you need to run from a herd of dogs).

Artifacts and armour attachments:

All artifacts in 2.0 increase your stamina a little bit when equipped to the suit/armour. But more important is the fact that ALL are radiated and harmfull to you.

The more positive energy they emit the more radiated they are also.
There are 3 levels of 'artifact energy'.

Artifact containers are used to control or filter such radiation emitted from artifacts.
Artifact containers also exist in 3 different qualities.

It is important that you equip the container to your suit before applying the artifact for its beneficial purpose.

(This feature is included in MISERY 2.0 only)
